I think the season may have hit a new all time low.

That was actually quite grueling to watch. A little bit of a build up then half an hour of conflict and duplicity. Not helped by that screeching Mancunian harridan, is this supposed to be entertainment?

Sad and a little bit gutted, I know I should know better and maybe tonight the last little bit of hope for the whole thing was finally battered senselessly out of me. This was sledgehammer car crash TV with every plot line yelled repeatedly and loudly in order to penetrate what would appear what they think is the somewhat dense craniums of the watching public.

Have these people got no empathy or respect for the audience at all.

Now when I think about it a little bit more I am not actually sad and a little bit gutted - I am now actually totally p1ssed of with the whole f*cking shouting match!

see this is why I feel totally out of touch with 'modern' BB, I could hardly find one redeeming thing about the show tonight!

I feel we may have to agree to disagree on what BB is and should be.

Sadly maybe the time has come - another old BB dinosaur bites the dust.

I agree with the OP. I felt uncomfortable throughout and didn't enjoy what they've done. However, I couldn't stop watching. Car crash TV.

I liked bits of it.

I didn't like Jack and Harry taking the piss out of Simon.
I did like the secret housemates defending Simon.
I didn't like the secret housemates taking the piss out of Harry.
I did like Brian extending the hand of friendship to Harry.
I didn't like Harry sulking when Nick was socialising with the new housemates.
I did like Nick and Nikki meeting at last - cute moment.

Hmm yeh. Half and half.

Ok well I've only now just started watching it and being as my opinion is only what counts on this forum I'll tell you what to think. I'll get back to you in 45 minutes, or maybe a bit longer if my mam starts shouting at me or needs her happy-jug refilling... or emptying.

It is only a t.v. show but they are real people and as other real people we do have feelings. Don't let this episode get you down OP. Many times I have felt like this world of BB is just too much to take and even reminding myself that it's just a t.v. show---but it's not really because these are real people doing hurtful things to other real people. But then it all turns around eventually and you once again find faith in mankind. I love BB and I hate BB---depends on the day.

As expected once Helen appeared the nastiness was bound to return.
Some parts of tonight were good, but none involving Helen. Marc is making himself look foolish by some of his accusations & his behaviour towards Cristian was ridiculous.

One very lovely aspect of the show tonight was Brian. What a decent bloke

That's pretty simplistic, don't you think. How can you know how it's going to go unless you watch?

I think this series probably spells the end for Big Brother.

It's just nasty, spiteful and totally unnecessary viewing now.

It is far too cruel now and that is not entertaining. The sooner Helen leaves the better and now Marc has blown it he can leave soon after - or with her if he chooses.

As a counter-argument, that pretty much sucks like an electrolux.

Yes and I thought Danny came out of it looking decent overall too.

Very unpleasant viewing watching the arrogant big-heads controlling the show. Look how much time BB allocated to Helen banging on about Simon's washing, you'd think Harry had assaulted him.

Very uncomfortable viewing, this is not entertainment, how far are the producers prepared to go with this crap, it seems to me they have no control on this programme at all, it's getting out of hand they are playing with real people and their feelings and there doesn't seem to be any cut off point.

I seriously think they need to get a reality check and start listening to the viewers and what they want to watch, instead of making this car crash shite because they think it's what the viewers want to see.

I've kind of given up on it. Which seems to happen more and more often in recent years. It's just so unpleasant.

I miss the days when they had days long shopping tasks, and made them dress up in stupidly themed costumes. I guess I find the bitching and arguing is so much more palatable when they look ridiculous while doing it.
