It's like me going on Pointless and purposely losing. It makes no sense.
Marc is fantastic. He is not a 'bully' far from. BB1...its a game show with a prize! So for those who are annoyed at Marc. Please don't watch game shows. "How dare they want to win that 250k on Deal or No Deal!"
Must we always mention this on here?”
It's HOW someone plays the game though. Arguably over here is more sophisticated than the American version; there they 'only' have to play the House - here they have to play the House and the public. In the Channel 4 years they seemed to do this - the Brian's, Kate, Pete and Josie especially and to a lesser extent Craig, Cameron, Anthony (best of a 'bad' lot), Rachel (placed here due to the Luxury Bedroom/B Block divide) and Sophie (I don't think anyone got all round public support that series; much like series 6). Mafia was the only winning Housemate who split the House and, to an extent, the public.
Since Channel 5 arrived the game has stepped up a notch. Aaron relied heavily on public perception and was relatively isolated in the House. Luke A and Sam won as the public went for relative normality over gameplaying/people splitting the House. I'd say these two were typical Channel 4 winners in a way. Helen was someone so far removed from the usual type of winner it's a slight surprise even now.
But the gameplaying is always and had always been there. It's just UK Housemates have to approach it differently to US House Guests.
