This series, I feel that it has really been Housemates vs Big Brother. The Housemates have got wise to the fact that the producers manipulate things, specifically trying to create heated rows. I've had an idea for what I could do if I were a Housemate to retaliate, and prevent them from broadcasting those rows when they happen, specifically if they involved Helen Wood.
Brenda Fricker, an actress that I admire, says that if she's filming a scene and she thinks she's messing it up, she swears in the middle of it and then the director can't use it. It's an arrogant way to do things, but it makes sense; actors of course want their best side to come out on film so that they can get more work in the future. So if Helen went off on one in the House, I would just scream out the name of the actor that she slept with in the middle of it. Big Brother wouldn't be allowed to broadcast that, as there is a super-injunction barring anyone from talking about it in public. I won't say the name of the person here as I don't want to get banned from Digital Spy, but it's not exactly difficult to find on the Internet.
Of course, it's a risky strategy as I myself may be subject to legal action by doing that. I think it would only come out though if it was broadcast, and if that was the case I'd drag C5 and Endemol down with me. I'm a bit rebellious like that... It would be wonderful to make the producers squirm, I think.
