Was posting about this earlier. I'd love to hear people's views on Aisleyne's accent...from those people who have been criticising Cristian's. I'm from London (born and bred) and I have a similar accent to Cristian's. It's can fluctuate and sound different depending on who I'm around and whether I'm happy/angry etc. It's extremely frustrating reading posts from people on here saying that Cristian's accent is fake or that he's trying to be "black". London is full of people with this accent and it's not "put on" or "fake". Aisleyne has this accent too, but I don't remember her getting half as much criticism on here during BB7 as Cristian is getting about his accent.

I agree with you, being a Londoner myself. I have heard that accent a great deal over the years. it's a very common accent, there's not just one London twang. I think a lot of people called Aisylene a black wannabe, I definitely heard it. I think some people who are not used to those accents from white people and think its fake.

But Cristian isn't a Londoner. He's from Blackburn via Reading

All the 'cool' teens speak like that around here (Kent),

There is no reason for them to, we don't have a huge ethnic diversity around here for them to have picked it up from, they all put it on because they think it sounds bad. 'other' types, like the ones that have jobs, can read and write have completely different accents for some bizarre reason? weird.

And to think we were all laughing at Ali G 15 years ago!

Yes, I remember that streak of wee Mikey taking the mickey behind her back by doing a black man voice - The story on the outside at the time was that Aisleyne was rumoured to be dating Mike Tyson!

I remember really wishing it was true, and hoping she brought him to final night so she could get Mikey to show him his black man voice

He's part Indian and has lived in Blackburn, Reading and London. He would have been around lots of different people and cultures and that's how he would have got his accent. I've know and have met loads of people with that accent, and I myself have that accent.

I'm from London and can't stand that "rude boy/girl" twang. Never encountered one person that doesn't sound like a dick when doing it.

I have an accent like Cristian's. I've met and know many others that do. It's not "fake". Tell me, what's the difference between you criticising someone's accent, to criticising the colour of their skin?

Aisleyne was born in an area where her accent is likely to be like that though. Plus her accent is always the same.
Christians keeps changing! His posher voice sounds far better and sexier. This accent he has adopted just sounds forced.

Anyway Master Ozzy you deffo have a lil crush on Cristian
What a shambles

If everybody in the world had a Brummie accent, there would be no more wars.

You're going to have to do better than that I'm afraid.

I'm from London and know it's fake. My kids do it sometimes jokingly. I must admit I've tried it myself and is quite hard. We've all tried it and can't. Is there anyone on here that talks like that innt?

He lives in London. People do pick up accents from their surroundings

But if he's from Blackburn wouldn't his posh accent be just as fake?

I suspect he purposely acquired it rather than just picked it up.

I'm from London, also born and bred here, my accent doesn't go back and forth, it's pure fakeness to do that.

Aisleyne has always been a bit of a wannabee rude girl hence the stupid accent.

Maybe he did. People do that too but anyway what does his accent matter? Can't understand the fuss about it.

What does it matter anyway? He talks as he talks, why do people care whether it's put on or not?
