Not a lot Janis, but then not a lot about big brother matters either

It's not even a London accent, and any accent that "fluctuates" depending on the mood of the person speaking it can't be genuine.

This accent has no home because it's fake, put on by young people who want to be "down with the kids" to be trendy, from da streets.

Im from London, born and bred, and have never spoken with that accent, when I went to school no one spoke like that...I speak with a proper GENUINE London accent.

Well it's how I speak. I'm 28 years old. It's not "fake". I've lived in London most of my life, I've mixed with many, many different types of people and cultures. My accent fluctuates in certain situations. I've met many people with the same accent.

Sorry but it's an act of fakeness.

Well I grew up in the 80s and that accent didn't exist then...surely this accent didn't spring up from nowhere in less than 30 years...accents develop over hundreds of years.

I don't know about that, but what I do know for certain is that my accent isn't "fake".

He's changed his name, his appearance, he tries to keep up a certain image on social media - what makes you think he wouldn't change his accent too?

If it's not natural and you can change it to suit your company surely it's put on and is a little....you know.

It's a choice though isn't it? The fact that it changes in different situations suggests you choose to speak that way.

Fair enough.

It's all about opinions I guess

I can understand why you would think that, but it's not a choice. The only way I can think of describing it is using an Irish person as an example. An Irish person might have a strong Irish accent, but when they argue the accent can get much, much stronger. Bit of a rubbish example, but it's hard to explain.

It's can fluctuate and sound different depending on who I'm around and whether I'm happy/angry etc. It's extremely frustrating reading posts from people on here saying that Cristian's accent is fake or that he's trying to be "black". London is full of people with this accent and it's not "put on" or "fake". Aisleyne has this accent too, but I don't remember her getting half as much criticism on here during BB7 as Cristian is getting about his accent.”

I live in london and i only speak with one accent. Diferent types of people and situations more affect my choice of word than my accent.
Cristians obviously experimenting with accent and thats fine but i get the impression that hes a nicely spoken boy who for his own reasons assumes the saath lundun rude boy rapper accent and phraseology. There are some londoners who naturally speak that type accent but their choice of word also varies depending on their situation , i doubt they use all that bredrin and cus stuf with their nan.
