Brian who took Ch5s money to run about the BoTS set in a thong...

I respect him a lot for that. He can see when things go beyond acceptable. Loved how he has defended those being attacked. Shame they didn't show the bot of Harry's interview when his question was if he could give her a hug.

Chloe wasn't being attacked. If anything Chloe was the one taking a pop at everyone when he piped up.

You really compare running around in a thong to him not liking the nastiness of others this year?

No, I'm suggesting Brian has no problem lowering himself to anything Ch5 want him to do.

Nor do I believe his white knight act here. He's nowhere near as dumb as he makes out and proves time and time again.

His "stuttering buffoon" speech has been nowhere to be heard tonights episode.

Wonder if he will lower himself to take the big, fat, fee!

He's a product of a much better time in BB, one where morals, integrity and likability took predominance over the glorified bullying and trash behaviour of Hellbitch and co.

I hope that the fact he is being so unanimously praised is the wakeup call the show needs.

People misunderstand, Brian's rant tonight was built up from the bunker, not just based on that one argument.

Unless I'm being naive, I assume he didn't leave in the end or surely the press would be all over it like a rash?

There's a big difference between playing dumb for a game show and being a genuinely nasty person. Didn't Helen say last year she takes pleasure in picking on others?

He must have good memories of his BB experience (winning, fun/games meeting the twins) and didn't want to tarnish it.

It was present in the DR when he was saying how much he liked Jade

He wants out first to get more press deals, rather than all 3 coming out and keeping up his 'Mr Nice Guy' image intact.

It sounds like he just doesn't want to walk out to boos because of Helen, he keeps mentioning walking up the stairs with her.

If I'd been stuck in a bunker for 48 hours with Helen - and Marc - I'd be at breaking point too I would imagine. Then there's Nikki on top of that

He felt guilty for nominating her and then over-reacted like an idiot when she started to cry.

He is simply trying to maintain his good-guy persona.

Brian is a nice guy and he's always been a gentleman. It's not an image it's a fact. Another fact is Brian is loaded he came back to have fun not to listen to Marq and Helen be vicious and cruel at every turn.

Oh puhlease. Lower himself? This the man who wet his bed in his series. I do like Brian but all this overreaction is just too much. He really wants to be seen as the good guy. Hmph

The argument wasn't about her crying, it was about giving her the chance to talk once nominated, tears or not. The minute Chloe started having her say - which I personally think she had a right to do, to respond when nominated - Helen and Marc started talking over her. All Brian did was say that she should be allowed her moment. It sort of went tits up after that

The tears were the clincher, though.

Without the tears, he wouldn't have cared about her getting a chance to talk.

Well, we'll never know about that - personally I think he'd reached his limit of Helen and Marc and, had they talked over Chloe when she was trying to talk - he may well have said let her talk. We will never know though

There hasn't been any decent press deals coming out of this show since 2010. I doubt that's the reason.

I was so proud of him, turning on the establishment.
