PAYG: 500 Mins, Unl Txts, 2GB Double Speed 4G - £15 pack for 30 days
SimO: 2000 Mins, Unl Txts, 2GB Single Speed 4G - £17pm 12 month contract

Maybe if those extra minutes are worth the £2 extra and the 12 month contract. I think not. And yes you read that right, it's double speed on PAYG and single speed on contract!

I'm confused on the new SIM only price plan document that it implies 080 calls aren't free on the two entry level tariffs.

I know it goes on later to say about 1,000 minutes to any individual number in a month, and 40p per minute otherwise, but surely the new rules don't allow for some tariffs to offer no 080 access for free?

Can anyone clarify?

I suppose EE are sticking to the dates, and will issue another price guide on the 1st of July.

So much for 20gb, 50gb and 100gb tariffs then still at least the current 5GB / £27.99 SIMO tariff seems like being replaced with a 10GB one, albeit for an extra £1 a month.

I've just ditched Three for the £19.99 4gb 12 month SIMO plan.

Whilst Three is great value, u think I missed the "premium" service from EE.

If I was going abroad I might buy a 30 Three sin for the feel at home. And I will miss the WiFi calling app, but I hardly ever use them services.

Feel at Home works with PAYG sims, and proper WifiCalling on EE works with sim only.

What sort of BIG changes, are we talking data allowances?

No, even PAYG with an add-on (the all in one 10/15/25) work and allow the allowances to be used abroad.

Quote:
“*If you're on Pay As You Go, all you need to do is convert your credit into an Add-on. You can then use the allowance in any Feel At Home destination.”

You are not going to get big allowances 50gb etc the allowance will be almost the same but bigger prices increase in data addons etc its used to be all about mins & txt now its all about getting as much money for the data as you can,

So nothing to get excited about then, just getting even less for your money. It seems you can only get a decent deal with EE if you go through retentions these days

Any new sim only plans on the horizon? I can upgrade my current sim only plan and although there's better deals on the upgrade page compared to what I paid last year. they're still not as good as what my husband paid for his a few months ago. It's only EE that does 4G in our area so stuck with them.

I hope EE keeps a tight reign on allowances and doesn't get seduced by the idea of silly price cuts. EE is the UK's fastest and most reliable network for a reason. Us EE fanaticos want quality not quantity and we'll pay for it, at least until BT takes control and ruins everything.
