I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread listing products you know are a good cheap alternative without decrease in quality. I will start off:

Asda Brand 'Whirly Bars' - Taste exactly like Milky Ways
Asda 'Caramel Bar' - Just as nice as Mars

Aldi/Lidl Chips and Curly Fries taste amazing and are only 99p a pack compared to the ones in supermarkets.

Aldi/Lidl Brioche Rolls - Much more cheaper than the ones in supermarkets and are individually packed which is good for your lunch box.

Any tried the Aldi version of pringles?

BIB: They do taste very similar but they aren't as sweet IMO which might be a good thing..

They're OK, but a bit oily-tasting and the intensity of flavour is inconsistent. Must be the way they spray them or something.

Mind you, it's been years since I ate real Pringles, but I seem to recall a common problem that if you eat a whole packet in one go, you don't want to eat any more for a very long time due to the after taste.

Crisps, biscuits and bars are generally better in Aldi than Lidl, and for some reason Lidl's own-brand 'Pringles' only come in three fancy flavours rather than normal ones like salt & vinegar or cheese & onion. The 150g bags of hand cooked crisps are definitely better in Aldi than Lidl, and almost taste like those crispy bits at the bottom of a portion of chips.
