I know that there are lots of other bands to see, but to replace one of the biggest bands with a fairly lighweight pop band, is just wrong. I am pretty sure that there would have been other top bands, that could have headlined
Florence is an OK act just not headline on a Friday night”
I don't agree with you in the slightest, and to be honest when you pay to attend a festival, you're not paying to see any particular act. Bands can and do pull out, sometimes for very poor reasons, and basically its tough! I wouldn't call Florence + the Machine 'lightweight pop' either, in fact a lot of people said they should have been headlining a night when they were first confirmed to be appearing at Glastonbury. I still think Friday has the best headliner of the three personally!

Exactly. I've seen suggestions that Muse should have stepped in, but they're headlining a festival in another country that day. You can't just expect bands to drop everything and go to play Glastonbury!

Its been said that a new act will be slotted in on the Friday, probably just before Florence but nothing is confirmed yet as regards who it will be.
