I think you need locking up and putting on some kind of a register!

I've seen it on a menu before, but haven't had it. Don't see why it would be awful though- beef satay with peanut sauce is a thing, after all.

Tru fax: peanut butter is the only good to go with everything according to the Georgia Peanut Council. It wouldn't be my first choice, but don't let that stop you, OP!

My opinion is either to bin peanut butter, or to keep a very small jar of it for the sole purpose of baiting mousetraps.

It is revolting.

I wouldn't have it but whatever floats your boat.

Personally, I like my burgers to be as simple as possible without any of these fancy toppings. Bacon and/or cheese are usually acceptable but why do you need beetroot, chill con carne, avocado, jam or the other types of nonsense you see in trendy over-priced burger restaurants? An egg should never be seen in a burger.

Depends if it's a greasy burger - in which case you would have grease on grease.
My preference would be for mustard or a sweet chilli sauce.

A burger place near me does peanut butter and jam on a burger. I ordered it last time I was there and it was blooming lovely. Never would have thought of doing it otherwise.

The latest craze seems to be the Macaroni Cheese Burger. I've seen it on menus in quite a few places now and it's absolutely revolting. Yes, I had to try it!!

Why not, works well enough with chicken so can't see why it wouldn't work with a burger too.

It over powers the burger and takes away flavour of the patty.

I like just a burger and bun, and that's it.

I want to taste the main ingredients and nothing else.

I agree, I do not mind some cheese and that is it, with maybe a bit of Tomato sauce or fruity sauce.
My brother and sister in law wants to take me out to a posh burger place, the problem is all i want is a normal burger, without a load of crap on it.

Most posh burger chains (by definition, how posh can a burger actually be?) will do a basic burger or cheeseburger in addition to those laden with toppings.

In fact many of the trendy Burger places actually do have a basic approach where the burgers are simple and it's all about meat quality and how it is cooked, places like Byron, Honest Burgers, Meat Market/Liquor, Five Guys, Patty and Bun etc.

I'm not a fan of nuts so wouldn't have it myself but as others have said surely it's no different to satay?

Why are they overpriced? Some lovely places near to me serving homemade burgers (or one place gets them from the butchers next door) made from quality ingredients and nice proper homemade chips or fries. Yes, they're more expensive than Wetherspoons or McDonalds but I'd rather pay a bit more for a far superior quality burger.

I like my burger cooked pink in the middle and stacked high with tasty toppings. I love trying all sorts of different combos. I enjoy making burgers at home too and trying different things, made a lovely one the other week with chipotle and smoked paprika paste in the patty, topped with Applewood smoked cheddar and roasted peppers. It was bloody lovely!

Places that charges nearly a tenner just for a burger, i do not mean chains like Frankie and benny either.

We have two local places here, one called BBQ and brews and the other called, I can't remember to be honest, but look at their menus, it all burgers with other toppings on, nothing about plain burgers,

That surprises me. All three places round here that do good burgers have the option of a plain burger and one lets you "build" your own, a choice of patties, bread and all the different toppings so you can have exactly what you want. To be honest though, any half decent place should be cooking everything from scratch so whatever you ask for they should be able to accommodate what you want even if it's not on the menu.
