Black band

Since I had Freeview installed a black band of about an inch depth has appeared all around the TV picture.

Will this be due to the RGB Scart lead? The picture is clearer so I thought it might be though I'm puzzled as to why this black band is there when playing pre-recorded tapes and DVD's as well?

what sort of TV are you using and what digital box? some have a built in zoom function like the Thomson DTi2300 so make sure that is not the issue first off and see www.avforums.com for more info

My TV is a Philips 28" and the Freeview box is Humax F2-1001T
