I've just been watching some clips on Youtube and this was damn right freaky. At several points in one instance when Anthony was blind drunk Craig was all over him

Was there any outrage about this at the time? I can't remember.

I was watching a top 25 big brother fights on you tube and the majority were from this series , was it really that bad I worked shifts at the time so only watched bits but don't remember it being that bad, the majority of them also seemed to centre around maxwell, science and saskia

I only watched the series in full around two years ago despite knowing bits about BB6 when it first aired in 2005. It is truly cringeworthy stuff and if I was Craig I would've had a huge mental breakdown after I left the house. It was car crash - yet compelling - TV.

Well we all probably had a good laugh at the time but as someone said to me imagine if Craig was a man and Anthony a woman. I suspect - even for then, when it was a lot trickier to get thrown out - Craig would've been shown the door.

Not outrage but people were surprised that BB didn't pull Craig up on his behaviour but then again they didn't say anything to Kinga for her bottle action either

Didn't Big Brother intervene at one point, when Anthony was absolutely bladdered, and get Eugene to look after him and keep Craig away?

Imagine if they put these 2 in the house last week but didnt tell them the other was also going in lol

Big Brother does tend to intervene when someone is that drunk, probably a case of that person might choke of their own vomit and needs to be supervised. However I do seem to remember a scene when Craig and Anthony were in the DR (Anthony was helplessly drunk) and a member of the BB team came into the DR and said it was time for Craig to leave Anthony in peace. Does anyone remember this?

Yes I remember it. Anthony was very drunk and Craig was "looking after him" which seemed to consist of him rubbing Anthony's leg rather inappropriately. Big brother had to step in and Get Craig to leave him be. I vaguely remember them getting another HM to look after him but I don't remember who

I'm pretty sure, it was suggested on either BBLB or BBBM that Anthony was putting it on and he wasn't nearly as drunk as he looked. Also Craig was genuinely worried about him and was genuinely trying to help him. It's just that it looked bad because of his weird, unrequited infatuation for the Durham pixie.

Once again I'm reminded of the chap who was arrested for getting 'fruity' with his bicycle...did the police interview the bike? Was he or she paralytic at the time?

That series was nicely balanced; well-defined characters, some good tasks, a bit of drama, a little love interest and some really funny bits.

It was really uncomfortable to watch.

I thought they were trying too hard to have drama and one-up BB5, and there were some very unpleasant characters in there.

Some great tasks though The cardboard box I think was that series (?), Maxwell grafting all day every day for the task in a cubicle by himself while the others were partying

Aw Craig was so cringey and creepy and majorly uncomfortable to watch. He was always all over Antony.

And saying he'd had a thomas the tank under a duvet when they were all sat around in the lounge chatting

BB6 was probably the most volatile series of the show I've seen. Some detestable characters like Craig and Derek. Almost no housemate who you could root for overall as even the nice guy Eugene ended up ''stealing'' half the prize fund.

Anthony only winning by default, more than likely all thanks to how he handled the Craig situation which made for some very uncomfortable, cringe-worthy viewing yet very addictive.

It's also the series that had a painfully obvious racial divide that was never really focused on - but would probably foreshadow what would happen the show less than 2 years later.

For me, There was no problem.

There was no problem for Anthony, He was straight, Craig was gay & no way was there to be a physical reunion, but the got on.
