Last year I despised Helen, hated the 'Ticket' she was given and felt she had completely ruined the series.
This year - ? She still has a mouth like a sewer rat, still winds folk up.....BUT somehow I agree with her precis of the housemates.
Mark is indeed a wind up merchant, full of arrogance and sometimes acts a complete idiot - but without him there would have been a very different and boring show this year.
Joel - genuine and honest, I also like his humour and loyalty to those he thinks are right.
Jade - miss her, and think she was handed a raw deal by Danny and Cristian - and Brian.
Wish Jack, Danny, Cristian and Chloe had been the 4 to leave on the '4 in 4 out night', as I would have preferred to have Sarah and the others in the house to the Core Four. Greatest disappointment has been Danny and Cristian, who IMO have shown themselves to be arrogant, deluded loud mouth's who sort of feel they have the house sewn up. Chloe's greatest weapon has been her tears - quite a different character to the woman I have read about.
Brian is something else - everything he has done in the house is so obviously for effect, to make sure everyone knows he is the true Hero. Never liked him before and certainly do not like the person I am seeing in the house now.

So where is Helen wrong? Her allegations about Victor were just plain stupid - let him deal with that.
Her characterization of the housemates - spot on.”

How about the fact that she contrasts Showbiz of all people with those HMs who cry all the time?

I feel really sorry for him TBH. He shouldn't have gone into the show, it isn't the show it used to be - it has shattered the illusion that he's been living.”

Yeah that's the bottom line Brian isn't cut out to be able to handle the way BB is these days.
With out going down to those levels himself to some degree.

No they don't - I said that quite clearly in my post.

Yes we've seen it most of it from Brian, my interpretation of it is a little less extreme than hers though. I see a sensitive - if mad as a hatter - guy who can't handle confrontation and was driven to the edge having to share a bedroom with her for a weekend, and now is set off whenever she starts up again with her poison. She's made others flip too and they didn't have to endure that.

As Victor put it, he simply can't handle people like that, she's vile and as extreme as anyone can get, and he comes from a different age when most folk on BB were different and the show wasn't all about causing conflict and arguments.

Well I take it in the manner it's used where I live . Someone who moans and complains endlessly is generally known as 'a crying b'stard' , even if no one has ever seen him or her actually crying . So for me she is spot on . Jack does nothing but flop around on his bed moaning and complaining(crying) , or wander around in his dressing gown moaning and complaining(crying) . Nikki is like that too , everything is a chore , nothing makes her happy for longer than 5 minutes .So yes, in my world I'd class them 'crying' idiots .
Simon---well I never liked him from the get go with his screeching "THAT'S SHOWBIZ!" endlessly but I have to say he is much calmer , just gets on with stuff and is much more palatable these days . Yes he did cry , but he was feeling put upon and vulnerable and while I DID laugh at him for it I can see that he was in a very bad position and honestly felt put-upon . Do remember , Danny has also cried , as has cristian , marc, sam, Harry,Brian,Jade --- and the biggest weeping willow of all of course is drippy-tap chloe , who would wither and die without her daily literal crying session over any little thing .
So from reading that column, Helen is spot on for once . Belo is an utter chump , but worse than that , in my opinion he is a dangerous chump .I know his type, all "hail fellow , well met" until they get crossed then they turn nasty as hell . Street angel and house devil , that's him . Jade should run and keep running .

But you arnt living in there with Bello, she is so shes entitled to express herself. As for Victor who is he, a has been housemate who watches the same as we do, sees the same as we do , he doesnt know Helen personally and to go in there spouting his mouth off about her is a horrible thing to do.

What has she revealed about what BB won't show?

Anyway, she has this muddled:

He had the audacity to blame Marc for her exit, despite it mainly being down to Nikki.

Shamefully, I participated too by listening to Nikki's opinion, never once regretted a nomination as much as Jade's. But what can I do now?”

Brian's shoes etc were about nominating Chloe, not Jade.

Helen seemed to be leading it as much as Nikki, if not more, when Jade was nominated.

Nominating is not the whole premise of the show, and even if it were, that would not mean there can't be legitimate objections to nomination choices or reasons.

How does living in there make her any more entitled to express an opinion than anyone else? It doesn't.

And what's horrible about Victor saying something when he doesn't know Helen personally? That's never stopped Helen from spouting!

This is so poor and badly composed. If daily star is desperate for somebody to write I suggest to them there are plenty of good writers on DS that would put Helen the Prossie to shame with their eloquence and prose.

If the whole premise of the show is N.O.M.I.N.A.T.I.N.G., why has Marc never been able to be N.O.M.I.N.A.T.E.D.?

Well everyone but Helen's group seem to love or at least like the guy - from classic HMs who know him to the present 'originals'.

Yes she's entitled to express herself, as am I. I'm not part of a gameshow I have a vested interest in though, allowed to spew vile about other 'players' in a national rag from within a supposedly isolated house. And before anyone says 'but she can't win' she can - she has a media career (as of now), a book to promote, and clearly part of her personality sees winning as coming out on top.

Spot on. He told Marc the truth to try and help him, and wasn't horrible about it imo. He could have said a lot worse!!!

Good lord, the grammar in that piece is atrocious - has that actually been published?!?!?! It reminds me of the old Morcambe and Wise sketches, where Ernie used to talk about "The play wot I wrote". I'm resisting the urge to go through and correct it, because I really can't be ar*ed

LOL. She truly is as thick as pigs**t.

Lmao at this bit,

The theme being TimeWarp meant the return of our pal Victor, the guy who’s been wearing the same beanie hat and jacket since summer of 69.

Bet slick isn't happy? & He was one of my favourite housemates, But this is funny plain & simple & I know it doesn't take much to amuse some of us

Are we expected to believe that Helen Wood is a good judge of what takes to be a nice person?? Blimey!

Belo may have got angry but I would hardly call him aggressive or threatening.

Btw, Joel pisses in the sink, Helen.

I do not buy the fact she likes Joel as she much as she claims she does.

Largely because Joel hasnt got a clue who she is before she walked in the house

When Joel comes out and discovers about her outside life and what she used to do for a living, he would look down on her like he does on everyone.

I've felt he was aggressive a couple of times. Of course he's allowed to disagree and say what he feels but he had been way ott more than once. I'm not only talking about shouting, he's been almost screaming with rage. Absolutely incandescent. Then Danny throwing thing round the kitchen. Both if these behaviours are unnerving to those in the same room.

They already have far too much contact with the outside world.

She dictated it and someone else wrote it down.

What a harsh assumption.

I haven't seen him look down on anybody in there, in fact he is the only housemate who has openly welcomed everybody!
