Wow some of you are great at remembering what he's said word for word, I'm sorry I don't tend to spend that level of interest, and definitely wouldn't if it made me unhappy, all I can say is I'm Irish, I'm from Dublin, I'm a fan of Marc, I and my friends and some of my family who watch find him hilariously entertaining, which is a whole lot better than the borefest of original housemates we were left with before he arrived.

It's not that difficult to recall this stuff. Fair enough.
But imo one person Marc should not dictate to the rest how he thinks the house should be. And especially not by being vile or tormenting people.

You get banter in all walks of life, it happens when you get a group of men together nothing is taken seriously. If you haven't seen it then you have led a very sheltered life.

Exactly, and as he's from Dublin, it's 'Dublin banter' to him. Jade understood his banter no problem.

She said she understood it. But doesn't agree with it all yes. This is when people need to think of others as well though , and not be selfish all the time. He's not in Dublin with his 'crowd' right now.

This is what I was trying to say and its not just men, us women are the same when we're together, and then in mixed groups too, for me its nothing new, granted the men by themselves would be a whole lot coarser as women can be too, and as I stated in my first reply, this is not solely Dublin banter, its the world over, what I connect with as Dublin is some of his sayings that are Dublin/Irish slang words, every region the world over has its own unique localisations

he really should have been calling Jade 'cumbucket' and 'baggy minge' then, I bet she would have been in hysterics

But he was in mixed company and using filthy language as an instult towards women. That's not a group of men talking banter.

Oh and I have not led a very sheltered life. Perhaps just been lucky not to have met someone like disgusting Marc. Then again, I choose my friends wisely

Be honest what is the public reaction on Marc in Dublin right now?

I think he tried that in the bunker. She was trying to say something when he was concentrating trying to listen to the house via the headphones and he said something like 'quit yapping' and she went off so he backed down. You'd think with them having such a mutual admiration now that the friendly banter would be just fizzing at the moment but he's ever so careful with Helen.

So I went off and replayed a diary room entry from Mark that I (from Dublin duh!) and all of my friends who watch Big Brother found hilarious, I've typed up a transcipt.

Tuesday 16/6/15 Nights Show: they’ve just put Chloe up for nomination and its all kicked off

Mark has come to talk to Big Brother:

Me heads wrecked, your mans out there Brian now, giving it all the fooking noble one outside with everybody, telling all them, all this that and the other, I’m gonna go out there now and I guarantee ye, I’m gonna start fooking having more abuse with people again, because that’s whats gonna happen, that little fooking fat eejit is gonna give it all that, going all that…”ooh can’t believe you nominated me friend, my best friend, my best friend”….No you’re trying to get into her mate, and she has a fooking fella ye bleeding thick ye. Four weeks, Cop on, bleeding tool.

Big Brother : Mark what do you think is the best way to handle the situation ?

Mark : You can only fight one person at a time Big Brother, you know, sometimes I like to think I’m a bit more than human, but no I’m human, you can only fight off one battle. People like to point at the person who is the better speaker or it comes across as a bully…ooh look at the bully, look at the bully….Nobodies bullying, she got nominated for being a boring bitch, I’m sorry you walk around crying about your boyfriend all day and you do absolutely nothing and then you cry for being nominated… and the fact that Brian is trying to take the fooking noble high ground there…you voted for her too mate, do you know what I mean, that pisses me off, when you have all these little brown noses outside given it loads… They give me one bit of guff tonight, I am literally, I’m whooping out a can of whoop ass of a verbal insults, they are literally… I’ll have them crying in here to you all night, you’ll have your whole night booked out… the whole night they’ll be in here.. they’ll be queuing at the door the shit I’m gonna be saying to them….fooking Saddle Sniffers

----------------------------------------------------

This attitude is what I like about Marc, he's funny even when he's absolutely raging with anger. Unlike the other Irish posters on this thread, I do not represent the whole of Dublin or the whole of Ireland, I'm not a fan of huge generalisations, I'm merely putting an example of why we like Marc

I already explained in my first reply on here, its called slagging friends so no is my answer to your question.

Also Marc is technically living in the Big Brother house, so basically he is at home, he is not out on a street walking up to random strangers.

I'm beginning to think an awful lot of you would be better off watching 'Songs of Praise' on a Sunday, yous all seem very uptight
