Sheena Easton appreciation thread
I guess I had a crush on her, as a 16 year old in 1980 I had heard her records on the radio and seen her on top of the pops
So I bought her first two albums on cassettes so I could listen to them on my Walkman, I loved 9 to 5 and modern girl, savoire faire, one man woman I guess all her early recordings. I went to see her in concert at the Dominion in London and was so impressed that I then got tickets to see her at her next performance which was in Sheffield that was equally enjoyable. Over the years I have listened less and less to her music, but whenever I hear one of her tracks it brings back real fond memories. She was, real cute back then. |
