It's that time of the BB Series Again....

Usually this is something which Cheeks had run, however for better or worse I took over a couple of years ago, mainly as I think it's an integral part of the DSBB forum for many, many, many years and think it should continue for as long as possible

Last Year the top 10 looked like this...

Last year, Aisleyne took an 11 place drop from the top spot after two successive years of winning the poll. Kate climbed 4 places to the top clocking up her third win on the rankings, whilst Deana climbed to a new high and into the runner-up slot and remained as the only Channel 5 HM to ever grace the top 10. However with a new series, a string of return ‘legendary’ Housemates from series gone by, we could be in for a bit of a shakeup this year!

Basically all you need to do is rank the all the HMs from favourite to least favourite. Your favourite will score 272 points, 2nd favourite 271 points etc etc until your least favourite 1pt. If you can't remember all the HMs, or only started watching from a certain series then submit a list of however many HMs you want, however the scores will be adjusted (for instance a list of your top 20 would mean your favourite getting 20pts, 2nd favourite 19 pts etc etc)

As Sam and Amanda have always been listed separately, so have Jack and Joe and also now Amy and Sally; mainly as they do have different personalities and some prefer one twin to the other (although in the case of Amy/ Sally it may be different). (Oh and the remaining BB16 HMs who have yet to be evicted are listed in Bookie order in case anyone thought I was going by preference)

If you haven't tried to rank before, it might be best to first within each series then merge them together to form your list. Please try and make your lists as clear as possible, also as there have been quite a few Sam's, Lisa's, Rachel’s, Sara's and Brian's - try to make it obvious which Sam from which series is in which ranked place.

Obviously the results this year will include the full stats again (if you submit a complete and full ranking). If you have a duplicate I will try to notify in the thread, however there may not be time as this can be fairly time consuming. If you submit an amendment (wanting to move a HM up or down) I will try to include it when counting up, however I try and count up as I go along in order to make the turnaround to the results quicker and therefore some amendments may not be countable this year. Also if you do have a repeat of a HM then I will take the lower ranking for the HM unless otherwise stated/ corrected.

Yes ranking 272 HMs is a bit of a mammoth task and you don't have to vote or participate – if you do decide to come into the thread and say people have a lot of time on their hands etc then thank you for bumping the thread!!!

If you do want to just rank a few or give points to some of your favourites from the years gone by then feel free; however please note if you do not submit a full list then the vote won’t appear in the statsy bit and the points awarded will be adjusted so per the above; However any points awarded will count in the Housemates overall score total.

I will indeed vote when the series has finished.

I could notice slight differences between Amanda and Sam, and Jack and Joel, but I couldn't notice any differences between Amy and Sally. In fact, I could never even tell which one was which whenever we saw them.

Could someone tell me the differences between the two of them, please? I know I could just leave them out of the ranking or just have them as one, but I like my list to be full each year.
