After refreshing my memory on some of what happened on that show including spitting in a housemates face, underline racial and homophobic agruements, throwing drinks and other stuff in peoples faces and lots of ganging up on people and also this was at a time when we could belive Big Brother was less scripted (or not at all scripted)......

....i really cannot say that this series or last series is getting worse when it comes to behaviour or aggrisve arguments, maybe there was more fun to balance the madness in previous CH4 BB days. But that's just my opinion.

The audience are way too precious and reactionary these days. BB6, CBB4 were all examples of series with actually DARK human behaviour. Sensitive souls now think silly arguments should result in warnings and removals. BB6 had actual racism, classism, homophobia and actual sick bullying, isolation and torment.

I miss BB5-9 era so badly, need the housemates back onto a series such as ultimate big brother 2, even the smaller ones who were evicted early on would make such good ones, they would have destroyed the channel 5 era housemates we have now and i doubt people like marc would be ruling the house

Big brother did get a bit ridiculous on kicking people out and warnings though around bb8 onwards after jade/shilpa i guess

I think i am getting the BB's mixed up. there was one where a housemate called Mo got spat at but cannot remember who done it.

That was BB9 and he got removed for that instantly.

Looking back at parts of BB6 and the race thing is quite shocking.

- The very obvious racial divide in the house (Anthony, Maxwell, Craig & Saskia vs. Makosi, Kemal, Vanessa, Science & Derek)
- Anthony calling Derek a "malteaser head" and no one batting an eyelid
- Saskia saying something like "Makosi you have an attitude, girls like you just do"
- SASKIA'S VT!!! Where she says she doesn't like immigrants cos they all want to come over here and bomb us. Yes, she ACTUALLY said that.

I agree but something tells me some BB viewers would love all the controversy today.

it was worse, she said - "you've got a chip on your shoulder, just like you people do!" Imagine that being said in 2015. I think this forum would meltdown.

An unbelievably good series, only rivalled by BB7 in my opinion. Just brilliant entertainment - very interesting housemates and group dynamics.

Some great tasks (the one where Maxwell worked hard all day in a booth while the others partied was a classic ) some really nasty individuals though imo.

Makosi seems really popular but I don't get the love. I've been watching BB6 for the first time and I'm up to Orlaith walking and I just found her really bitchy and attention seeking. She was great as an entertainer but not my winner. She was so duplicitous about Kemal and Orlaith. I think she was actually quite unintelligent - she claimed to hate Kemal yet she happily got involved in Kemal's bitching about Orlaith.

i prefer it like this though, free speech and all that. these days its warnings here warnings there warnings sodding everywhere.
people are obsessed with ''warnings'' which only serve to shut the over sensitive audience up complaining. and even some go a step further and demand housemates removal .
