BT £30 charge to cancel
Broadband contract is up, so we enquired about full bt package phone, broadband and tv. Told we need a tv ariel to receive tv channels as only some come via broadband.. Our old ariel hasn't been active since the last century and is most likely knackered. Told bt ok we'll stick with sky for tv and take phone and broadband from them too. Informed by bt there would be a £30 charge to disable broadband at exchange. Anyone else had this problem ?

It's a cease charge, if you are just going to cancel....either request a mac code or get Sky to handle the transfer, then you will not be charged.
