The rate things are going it'll be old news by Friday. Plus they can't be seen to be making fun of either candidate just because they're female, that would be very un-PC. Much more likely to be ranting about the Labour leadership contest, should it actually happen. Especially if the PLP somehow manage to keep Corbyn off the candidates list.

That's assuming Farage and Trump keep their gobs shut. Which I admit is a pretty big ask.

Who cares about that stuff anyway. As long as there are anteaters, I'm happy.

Bumping this thread for tonight's episode. Miranda Hart (an acquired taste, I know) is the guest.

Ricky Gervais was surprisingly better than I thought he'd be

Must say that I thought he'd had his time and retired .........and was now revisiting his Greatest Hits, which of course he is

I think they handled the Syria situation well.

no matter what you think of Katie Hopkins i thought the ISIS joke was a bit low tbh , no need for silly things like that when trying to be serious about a serious subject

Really?!?! They start off with some po-faced virtue signalling by saying they're not going to make jokes about the situation and they last about 60 seconds before they're making jokes!!

This show has disappeared up its own arse tbh ,, i used to love it , but now there is something a bit off about it.

I like Josh, but he was lost when trying to give a serious thought on something serious

Oh, good grief.

If his misandric and nasty Graham Norton appearance last week was anything to go by, this is going to be horrible. Especially considering the kind of show TLL has turned into recently.

Well I enjoyed last night's episode and am looking forward to it returning in January. It's great to have a left-wing comedy show who can actually have a liberal slant instead of trying to dance around and be balanced on both sides. Plus, they're the only show that proper politicians seem to go on, comedy-wise.

They go on Have I Got News For You sometimes. I thought it a good show, lighter than usual. Perry wasn't too bad. Brush was good, although the thing about kissing Bea got a bit weird. At first she was owning it, then she appeared to get disgruntled, uncomfortably trying to fold her skirt so the guy didn't get quite such an eyeful. I was surprised the show went for sexually humiliating a female guest.
