I haven't given up on the show but this series has had more sighs and eyerolling from me when they go on their rants.

I'd consider myself left of middle on most issues, but I sometimes find channel 4 airing a bit more on the extreme lefty front, or not far off anyway and very full of a lefty agenda, with not much balance.

Indeed, no mention of how it is all effecting "hard working" people's lives, disrupting their holidays, haulage businesses, truck drivers (more likely to be Labour voters themselves) etc.

Please. Just because someone disagrees with your politics doesn't make them deluded. It just makes them different. Given The Last Leg's initial reason for existing to try to make people appreciate that 'different' doesn't mean 'wrong'. And this isn't the place to argue whether the left or the right is more valid anyway.

The show has always had a consistent view on politics. Coming on here and complaining about that now is futile, because they've been doing it for six series. The criticised the government over the ATOS contract back when they were the paralympics show and they've done similar things ever since.

Agreed, it's become a bit too preachy for me now. Whether I agree or not, the rants annoy me now, whereas they amused me at first.

The situation with refugees is only going to get worse until the problems in their home countries get sorted out.

These people haven't undertaken a life-threatening journey across the Med and travelled hundreds of miles across Europe just so they can live in a cardboard village in Calais and annoy the Tory party.

The bloke is (it seems like 99.9% of Americans) an actor and so to get asked to appear in another country and be flown over, expenses paid and get an appearance fee for 5 minutes work, isn't going to be turned down by most aspiring actors/models/burger flippers.
