Lovely sound
. I've never heard of a vibraphone before.I used to play the xylophone at school, but it was hard enough with one mallet in each hand

There are tubes below each of the keys, under which there are electric fans, which give the sound a vibrato effect. There is also a foot operated damping system similar to that of a piano The most famous jazz vibraphonist is probably the "big band" leader, Lionel Hampton. It's quite versatile. Good for "up tempo" tunes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_rTICMVXQQ As well as slow ballads. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djTpuq6RruI |

You wouldn't think that so much emotion could be produced with mallets, would you?
