BT Sport & Entertainment + In HD
I currently have BT Sport via BT TV and the Entertainment Plus package.
BT Sport is in HD and will cost £4 per month from August, however all my "Entertainment Plus" channels are only in SD. According to the splashscreen, I need another HD bolt-on to receive the "Entertainment Plus" channels in HD! However someone has suggested that if you take the bolt-on HD pack for the "Entertainment Plus" channels, then the BT Sport channels are also provided in HD. Can anyone confirm this before I ring BT? Seems strange if true. |

Before BT updated their package offerings recently BT Sport was available in HD at no extra cost if you took out the HD Extra bolt-on that gives you certain Entertainment channels in hi-def.
I switched to the Entertainment Max package the other day which includes the HD bolt-on and so far I am still receiving all the BT Sport HD channels. Whether this will change, either after my next bill or when BT Sport Europe launches properly on August 1, remains to be seen. I was only wondering about this myself yesterday, but so far sport in HD is free if you have a HD bolt-on or some relevant inclusion in your Entertainment bundle. |

Thanks for the clarification.
Seems ridiculous to have 2 HD packs running for the same cost. I'll call them to remove the BT Sport HD pack, then add the HD bolt-on to my entertainment pack and receive BT Sport in HD! What a faff! |
