They're just comparing that amount of data to that amount of facebook uploads etc

IE; 4 million facebook uploads would equate to 3TB of data

In the same way they don't really mean 2 million people downloaded Lionel Richie's Hello, it's an approximation of what can be done with that much data.

It's a little more sophisticated than just an approximation.

No, saying the data is the equivalent of downloading 2 million Lionel Richie tracks or uploading 4 million Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts is by definition an approximation, as it would never be an exact figure when approximating it as a round figure of 4 million or 2 million .

The 4G at Glastonbury was really really poor. Speed test app on my iPhone 6 would fail to find the best server at the worst times. Most of the time speeds were 0.5megabit/s-2.5megabit/s. Highest I got around 14megabit/s and that was early on Wednesday morning.

Call dropping/call establish failure was awful too, especially around the main areas (pyramid mostly). Lost signal a few times there too.

Barely any signal in Shangri-la either, 1 bar of 3G at best. Didn't see 4G at anytime in Shangri-La.
