In some deluded way,the writers seem to think that is 'funny' and 'lighthearted' to write Jimmy and Rodney that way for the viewers.
har har...........har....

....... tumbleweed blows by...........

It's nasty, no one is interested in escapades of a senior citizen gigolo and and an AARP remember reluctantly being one as well.

Please no, I can't take that stuff and it makes no sense. Why are these women so desperate that they are willing to pay an 80 year old escort?

I think Danny Miller said he would like Aaron and Adam to be like some pair of brothers on East Enders
Perhaps James should send one of Aaron's socks off for DNA testing - maybe's he's his Father too.....

LOL no, that'd make them more like Dodger and Sienna on Hollyoaks

Aaron' s a selfish prat. Telling Andy that lie about Katie leaving him was appalling. He barely blinked either. A bit like he had that excuse prepared. I wonder if he was trying to protect Robert ( which didn' t come across at all) or if it was just his own sorry skin?

Either way, Danny Miller's non-acting was just galling.

Come on now, you might not like Aaron, but Danny Miller is one of the show's best actors.

You have to be joking, Mark! Danny Miller is and always has been dreadful.

I can get on board with Lachlan discovering Ross's loaded weapon but jimmeh being an in demand escort is just SOR X 1000000

Hooray !! I can imagine his last scene; he will have sex, with anyone, bash someone on the head, steal their car and drive off in to the sunset. The producer could economise by cutting and pasting these monotonous activities from previous episodes.
bib: Well, he is a fabulous, fit, sadly not gay carjacker, with needs. And misunderstood, albeit a little bit naughty

And as for "bashing people on the head", as you constantly love to mention, those isolated incidents have occurred about as often as a smile from Debbie.

Mark, I am genuinely not saying this to be annoying - I thought Danny was awful last night. He didn't convince me at all.

Really? While I didn't think his performance was award winning last night, it wasn't bad either.

Yep, fraid so. He always seems either totally flat to me (like last night), or weeping. There isn't anything else. I've tried to see what you can, and you're not the only one, but I'm mystified.

Ok, what about those scenes when Paddy found out Aaron was gay? That was some amazing tv and some of the best acting I've ever seen on a soap period.

So good that he almost gave up 'acting' because nobody would hire him before Emmerdale did. So good that he asked to be taken back. It was reported at the time by a reliable source but quickly covered up.
I don't know if he was axed from Scott and Bailey but it certainly looks like it when you read reports.

Just because he couldn't find another job doesn't mean he's a good actor, there are plenty of actors who stay on soaps who are better actors than some big Hollywood stars. Nicholas Cage can't act to save his life. I also read somewhere that Demi Moore was horrible when she was on General Hospital yet she made it big and then there is Jessie Metcalfe who was horrible on Passions yet some how made it on to Desperate Housewives and Dallas 2.0

Wish people would keep the talk to the characters and storylines instead of continually slagging off the actors.

I get really bored of reading this kind of thing. Yes the script was good but this was what, five years ago? One good episode does not a good actor make.

Then maybe you need to accept that people have different opinions to you.

He's had some really good stuff with Jackson, like when they broke up before the crash and he was really good at Jackson's death bed. Since h e's been back he's had good scenes like when Chas and Paddy found out about RobRon, Aaron telling Chrissy about the affair and the scenes where Robert was holding Aaron and Paddy hostage. I think you are letting your hate of Aaron cloud your judgement of Danny Miller's acting.

I really dislike it when people say that. It's very patronising and people only say it as a last ditch attempt to persuade you to see things from their own point of view. There are several characters I don't much like in Emmerdale - Chas, Laurel, Charity to name but three - but I rate all of the actors who play them. I think Danny Miller is a poor actor, and the character of Aaron is just unlikeable. The end.

Fair enough, I can't stand Debbie but Charley Webb is a decent actress. As for Danny Miller's acting I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
