Same goes for the rest of the spoilers. They all happen, that week. But things can always change the following week.”

Exactly! Thanks. I thought I was going mad for a minute. I know what a spoiler is. It says

Spoiler
Marlon and Laurel tell April they have split

so I think it;s safe to say that

Spoiler
Marlon and Laurel tell April they have split.

Everything after that is speculation. But for now ... YAY!

Michael Parr is good, but the actor is getting stories, so cannot see why he would be unhappy. I have sympathy for actors/actresses in soap who do not get much screen time, or any stories. However, Emmerdale tend to include all characters with screen time and stories. I do not think any characters on the show right now are neglected.

Michael Parr seems to be happy with the storyline's he's getting. He sounded very positive in the interview about Ross being Mosses' dad.

Michael is certainly one of the shows best actor's and in fact one of the best in soap at the moment. I hope he stays in the show for a long time to come. It'll be a real shame if he goes off to attempt movies only to get rejected or only gets roles every now and then.

Of course he's happy, I find the suggestion that he isn't absolutely daft. He's gone from being dumped by his agent and almost giving up acting, to snagging a big high profile part as a bad boy on a mainstream soap, he's getting loads of screen time and lots of press/award/fan attention. Why wouldn't he be happy? All his interviews suggest he's having a good time.

I don't mean he'll want to stay forever, of course at some point he'll want to spread his wings, but he seems pretty happy right now.

It's tough to find work in the acting profession. Most are blissed out just to get work, and what he's getting is much better than that.

Victoria spent years being neglected and not getting stories.

And for good reason, she's not a strong enough actress to carry a story as evidenced by her performance during the Adam affair reveal and Ashley hit & run.

Does anyone else find it weird that in RobRon sex scenes Robert always ends up half naked and Aaron never even takes off his hoodie?

Yes!

I'd rather see Aaron with his clothes off than Robert so I always notice.

Splutters. Victoria actress is great and always has been, but she's been inexplicably been put with terrible actors like Chelsea Halfpenny who played a character only slightly better than Aaron.

If she wasn't a Sugden the character would have been axed years ago. The actress has actually got worse at her job which should be a worry.

But working conditions are not the fault of the cast or crew or down to their lack of talent - that's down to ITV bosses to provide the conditions that enable them to do tjeir best. There's nothing the actors can do but their best in what must be really trying circumstances. I agree about Victoria, she wasn't great in the recent story and that highlighted that she's not ready to carry a story. I find Aaron intensely annoying, but I'm not sure if it's a decent actor lumbeted with a crap character or just a poir actor.

Mind you, that's what most of us have to do at work and I've never been paid £20000 never mind £100000

As Star clearly isn't here I'll say 'Oi!!!'for her

Yep.”

Imo a good actor is one who is good enough to step into a good drama with a well respected cast and take the lead role. How any say Michael Parr is anywhere near that level at this moment in time? For me the male acting in ED is quite poor. I'd say that only the ones who play Cain, Ross, Robert and Lawrence are average or a bit above that.
There are a lot of really bad ones.

Sorry Kwynne, but I just can't agree.

Chelsea Halfpenny and Danny Miller are much more convincing actors, that is why Victoria was always secondary to Amy. It's a shame that they weren't/aren't more likable characters like Victoria is.

I wanted to see Victoria get a storyline too, but given her recent performances it is clear that she just can't handle it. She's worse even than Adam.

I read somewhere it's because Aaron has scars from when he was self-harming and if he took his top off then the make up department would have to put the scars on him each time.

Only if he's going down the acting drain where that character belongs, danny Miller thinks showing emotion is stroking his beard, and showing grief and sadness stroking his beard twice.

Coronation Street puts that scar on Todd every day and Todd on One Life to Live had a scar on his face that was much worse than Todd's on Corrie and they put that scar on his face every day for about ten years so Emmerdale's make up team could surely do Aaron's scars when there is a RobRon sex scene.

Come on now, he is great in really emotional scenes, I don't ever think I've seen a guy cry like him on soaps.

That's weird, from what I remember Aaron only cut himself once there. So it's just one scar.

That could be a valid reason though that means we'll never see Aaron topless again

It's in Danny Miller's contract. He gets to wear two pairs of steel pants as well.

When other than in the last month has Victoria ever had a chance to shine, certainly not since angst ridden screen hogging orange monster first came, when she was younger Victoria had lots of scenes and she was very good in them.

As for Aaron he's just terrible, I could say more but it would take up 10,000 words of rage and frustration and no one wants to see that do they?
