First off I hope everyone enjoyed there Christmas as much as I did, we an unusually warm (for this time of year )Christmas it 50 something degrees! I was wearing a hoodie on Christmas day, that has never happened before in my life.

But back to these spoilers, most of them are bad especially
Spoiler

Also can Kate Oates be blamed for these spoilers? I thought her last episodes were in December.
They plan ahead so her stuff will be running into July/August.

I might have cracked up if Finn had been given more to do in this episode.

But no - it seems Finn's only purpose in the show is to be the "gay joke" character - whilst the "A"-gays get all the drama.

Cue a "Robron" snogging scene in a couple of weeks <rollseyes>
Agreed.

Seems like we're building up to something interesting with Chas, Gordon and Aaron.

With those three involved, I don't think that's possible.

Saying that, surely nothing can be any less interesting that the current crop of storylines?

Seeing Betty made me all upset.

And hearing Sandy talk to Edna on his walkie-talkie made me fill up with tears.

I'm so glad they got Eric to open the door and let them in.

But I hated the Zak and Joanie stuff.
There was no need to write tripe like that. No need at all.

Laurel and Ashley are so right together. They should never have split them up.

And that Artist's impression of the Warehouse robber looked more like Adam than Aaron - so why didn't they question HIM?????
Another chance to get rid of him missed.

Also, Carly is giving some awfully funny looks to the camera.
What's up with her?
What's going on?

How did Zac think him and Joanie would get a place of their own? He has never worked a day in his life

It is ridiculous.

And yes, the sooner it is over the better.

If they needed Joanie to bring Kyle back to give Cain more storylines, fair enough - but making her split Lisa and Zak up is just unnecessary and horrible.

They should have killed her off in the helicopter crash and saved Val.

Aaron loved his Dad, hated his Mum. All change now ? He got thrown out for hitting his stepmum( who he also loved) so why does he still not like his Dad

If it is, and we have to stomach those two swanning around the village, I might go up to ITV Studios and vomit all over the Woolpack.

Don't know if been mentioned before (apologies if it has) but it looks like they are replacing Gabby with a new actress. Her name is Rosie Bentham. Sad to say but the present one is abysmal. Eden Taylor Draper seems to be the only one who has gone from child actor to adult without being changed.

There aren't all that many actors/actresses I'm sorry to see leave but the actress who currently plays Gabby is one of them - I think she's great. She often doesn't have to say a word - the expressions on her face say it all, and Gabby is my favourite of the ED children.

Kelvin Fletcher was pretty young when he started as Andy and he hasn't been changed.
But if you mean Eden is the only child actor who can still act now she's older, I agree!!!

The current Gaby looks a bit young for her age, so I guess they have some more 'adult' things in store for her. Hence the re cast.
Which is fair enough, but will this new girl be able to deliver the Gaby death stare?

I agree that she has an expressive face but when she opens her mouth she talks in a monotonous tone. Lachlan acted her out of the park when they were doing the bit with Val's ring and I thought then it was time for her to go. Lo and behold in next weeks TV Times there is picture of the new one sat on the sofa. Alice is my favourite at the moment.

I think she' s a good character, but I' m not convinced the actress would be up to the dementia story. Also, if she' s quite young she probably has exams coming up and her parents might not want her doing such an emotional story. I can see why ITVwould rather have a slightly older actress too - less working restrictions, able to handle more emotional stories, and it won't look 'wrong' when she starts having relationships.
