Obviously it was just an example, but if they are trying to suggest that there' s been some sort of emotional or physical neglect or even abuse, then it' s not really borne out by what we see of either James or Pete's characters. Yes, he' s damaged by his upbringing, which undoubtedly could have been better, but enough to be a cold blooded killer?

I think Pete' s got some good reasons to despise Ross - he' s seen what the family suffered because of Ross and constantly had to deal with Ross' bitterness to him. He also grew up without a Mum, and witnessed the horrible scene of his mother trying to kill Ross. He' s as deserving of sympathy as Ross. As is poor Finn, who Ross didn' t consider at all when he set about trying to murder Pete.

I agree, although I want less of' comedy Dan' and more of the kind, serious, supportive Dan that we get from time to time. I event want to see him stand up for himself with Cain, in fact with Kerry too. Poor Dan' s always caught in the middle. I think the ED writers confuse being nice with being a complete sap.

Finn seems to be the keeper of all the families secrets and lies and as for decency remember how he treated Darren He was incapable of just telling him it was over and instead went to more and more extreme lengths to make him feel uncomfortable and unloved

Yes I think Ross's family background has certainly helped to pave the way for how he is now.

Ross has planned to kill Pete but has never actually went through with it, yes the whole pact thing with Andy was ridiculous but the reason why Ross didn't push Pete off the viaduct was because Pete started talking about the past and that his dad really does love him. Ross since he has come into show has saw the first girl he loved kill herself and then had no support off his family (who blamed him), He then spent Christmas with a bunch of people who hate him when he needed support after Donna s death but his "family" were too busy at some random wedding. The affair with Debbie may of started off as Ross wanting what Pete had but Ross did fall for her, had Debbie not broke it off with Ross the first time I dont think Ross would of made the pact with Andy. Then having never had a bond with his dad, his mum shows up only to be told that she tried to kill him. I'm not saying Ross hasn't been a maniac but he has had alot to deal with, as many others has but the difference is no one is ever there for Ross.

People say Ross is just a child who is jealous of Pete, he has been buried alive by his brother and his mum tried to kill him when he was just a child. These are not just things people let go, I would be worried if Ross didnt want revenge.

Analysis Centrals review of last nights Episode

1) Gabby and the strange case of the Alien kidnap and the replacement that looks nothing like the the original

Liked Laurel bring attention to it by querying Gabby's current looks

Kwynne on head changing theory. Given Ashley's big storyline they obviously felt they needed an actress who was able to show emotion better than the old one and who didn't have a bit of a one tome monotonous voice like the old one. Old Gabby may have been wonderful but they may have needed the new one who could do more and didn't have to be confined to the school holiday's (see Amy in Corrie who is in nearly every episode and far more confident in her acting)

2) How come nobody bothered to tell Chas that Debbie had gone away

3) Obviously Gordon did rather more to Aaron but why did we need to know about it and so given Aaron the excuse to be on screen even more or at all

4) Aaron self harming, been there bought the T-Shirt, eaten the biscuit and been bored to tears several times already by this storyline

New Producer every is bored shitless by Aaron reduce him to an Extra and i'd even accept more Ross if you did that for me

5) Isn't Moira technically Moses step Grandmother so why does Emma think she can waltz in and take moses.

I think you're a bit hard on Aaron. I remember an episode when he was just slightly upset. 😀
We will never know if he can really act until the writers give him a s/l which has him in any state of mind apart from angry.

I thought Danny Miller did a great job in this episode, I love angry Aaron, I could do without the self harming, its been done to death and its time to move on from it permanently.

Also does anyone think that all this is leading to an story about Aaron being sexually abused by his step mother? I could see it going this way and it would explain why he restored to hitting her when he was a kid.

Part 5) - Aaron is walking along a stone wall when a fat heavy lump called Joanie falls on him, for the second time in a month Joanie has got on a fall to get reception and fallen off, although this time Joanie has a soft landing but Aaron has his neck broken and ends up Paralysed just like Jackson did but unlike him he doesn't get he wants and hes forced to spend 80 years without uses of his arms and legs and only able to blink, he's so bad Stepehen Hawking feels pity for him, Aaron eventually dies when his carer forgets him for 3 days.

part 6) - Russian warplanes which got lost attacking ISIS flew even further than turkey and Bombed emmerdale by mistake.

Aaron takes a direct hit and is vaporized never to be seen again, a huge hole in the ground 30metres across where Aaron used to stand , there is major damage to the village and Brenda, Bob, Tracey, Marlon, Paddy, Ross and Emma are all killed there are many injured.

Part 7) - In a bizarre and unlikely chain of events, the shooter of Robert fires their gun at Chas because they think she knows to much, however the bullet ricochets of her icy heart and the bullet flys into the cockpit of a passing helicopter and kills the pilot who happens to be the brother of the pilot killed in last crash.

The out of control copter falls into the scrap metal yard where Aaron and Debbie are fixing a broken car, the helicopter explodes killing them both stone dead instantly.

Part 8) - Aaron is crushing metal in the scrap yard when he gets caught in the machine, when Adam arrives Aaron is flat as a pancake in 10 parts

Part 9) - A tear falls from Aaron's face, yes he's crying again, it lands and interacts with a noxious chemical which turns into a cloud of poison gas which killed the entire village.
Aaron would know have lots to cry about if he wasn't dead already

Part 10) - A husband of one of hunters clients comes to the the village and ignores Rodney because he can't believe that old man would attract his wife, he see's Aaron who answers him back in his usually sour manner. So the husband in a rage beats him to death.

Part 11 - Aaron is walking down the Street when he is mysteriously shot by an unknown assailant, many suspects, hardly an unusual occurance in Emmerdale.

Part 12) Aaron is passed by some Ninja's who mistake him for an enemy. he dies mysteriously in the night

Part 13) Aaron is tied by an angry Robert to 4 Llama's and then the Llama's are whipped into running in different directions and all of Aaron's Limbs are torn off

Part 14) - The local satanists whose leader is a risen again Val sacrifice Aaron on the alter of the local church in a warning to Ashlley to back of his secret investigation of him.

Part 15) - Victoria runs Aaron over in her car she is so bad at driving.

Part 16) - Aaron cut himself while hiding the gun it became infected and Aaron dies of a flesh eating bug
