A. I think you're wrong about the dates, they do add up cuz they even connected the abuse to him getting kicked out the house. B. I think Chas acted like most mothers would in this situation, she is very believable. K. Doug is always an idiot and he is quickly becoming my least favorite character. Hopefully he will die in one of the upcoming stunts ![]() Oh and Happy St. Paddy's day everyone have fun drinking!!!!
I'm Irish, I have a hatred of accordion bands and I don't drink alcohol, but thank you anyway ![]() Quote:
My mother would rather have died than behave like that.

This was not the trial, this was the hearing to determine the if the evidence was strong enough to be sent to court and the defendants plea. The only evidence presented at this juncture is the what the CPS and police have gathered to bring the charges . This was very obviously shown on screen. However rather than focus on your dislike of a certain character, maybe watch the drama unfold. If you don't want to do that, dont review the episode

Off topic but have you been watching the ' fly on the wall' documentary about how the CPS gather evidence and present it? Very interesting. I' d love for them to do one about the Procurator Fiscal in Scotland, to learn something about Scots Law ( without having to read difficult books

No haven't seen that, sounds good though. This is a subject that I find quite interesting and I agree that one about the fiscal office would be very good. Some of the case's you read about, you wonder how the heck they came to court. Yet others are not progressed

You should see the big parade going on here, downtown is packed with people drinking and what not. I've never seen this many people in downtown Cleveland before.

I'm in Stirling which is our local ' big ' town for late night shopping and apparently it now celebrates St Patrick' s day judging by the people going around in green and white. A town whose population is about 90% Scottish, which never celebrates St Andrews Day in any form, now seems to think its taking part in a New York parade to celebrate another country. This is only one of the tragedies resulting in mixing Guinness and students ![]()

LOL I've never even heard of St. Andrew's day and honestly IDK what St. Patrick's day is really about, I know it has something to do with Ireland, but here it means lots of drinking, corned beef and wearing green
![]() It amuses me that Cleveland has honoured the feast day of the Patron Saint of Ireland but nobody in Emmerdale gave it a mention. Glendarroch, it sounds dire over there, my sympathies

FFS don't give Aaron good news. He doesn't do happy, he only completed the first module of his distance learning acting course, the one that covers being a miserable bastard.

Have I missed some part of St Patrick's story?? What's corned beef got to do with anything???
Of course today there's green beer and the Shamrock Shake at McD's too, I assume neither is authentic.

That might actually be Irish American (or just American), not sure, but my family always had corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick's Day here in Detroit. With carrots and potatoes. Yum. Not sure what actual Irish dish it descended from, if any.

Min Synopsis of Episode
John Middleton started his campaign for a BAFTA this episode and a showreel for future roles given how good he was. Good job he was because not much esle was. Ashley has forgotten he got married and thought he was still with Harriet, going to get very Awkward if he doesn't remember Harriet was helpful Laurel was upset and didn't really know how to react. Sandy Actor showed off everything he knew acting wise which was surprisingly little after 70 years in the business Doug tried to be helpful but annoyed me for the 1098th episode running Elsewhere news of Ashley was a real downer on the wedding party. Victoria hair is as bad as her street food. Chrissie got all literary with Andy but of course he missed the point Lawrence gave Andy more work very reluctantly Bob was very crass in front of Gabby Rhona and Paddy were sad about their marriage Deep voice sister of Crybaby is in league with Gordon And crybaby spent the episode wailing and crying and feeling sorry for himself as usual. Joanie got a job at T'factory and Lisa wants to sell the house which no doubt will go cheap at £1 |

Analysis of key points and questions of last night episode
1) Why did joanie think it ok to console Laurel when they barely know each other Sidebar Kwynne is ashamed of Q1 since he normally thinks when people ask questions like that silly and pointless. 2) Will Charity ever have her hair cut and will it be the same hairdresser as Victoria. 3) Will Harriet tell emotionally blackmailing Ashley to bog off 4) Can Pierce please beat paddy to an inch of his life 5) Will Lisa really sell the house 6) Will Ashley get caught out on his wedding remembering exam that he is cheating in. 7) And if he can remember what Harriet told him about the wedding why can't he remember the wedding 8) Will Jimmy ever get any intelligence 9) Will Nicola think up a better password 10) Will charity manage to sell her share in the firm 11) And was this episode really as boring as the questions it generated |
