Analysis Central's Do's and Don't's about last night episode.
1) Don't have sex in the surgery . 2) Especially don't do on top of important test results and mix them all up 3) Do knock on Doors. 4) Do wait until the Doctor tells you can come in, don't just barge in its rude. The standard waiting time is always 20 minutes after the appointment time whether or not the Doctor's is full of not. 5) Do sue Doctor bailey and get him struck off 6) Do not under any circumstances celebrate loudly when having a clear health because if you don't instantly die of a heart attack there will have been a terrible misdiagnosis and you won't be celebrating loudly much longer 7) Don't let Sam Dingle give a speech at a christening. 8) Do involve the father at the Christening even if the father is Jai 9) Don't shout at you biggest supporters if you about to go to trial. 10 Don't be utterly miserable in general. Then again i've been telling Shitbaby that for 1000 episodes in a row. 11) Do try to cheer the eff up the trial might not be the utter disaster you are expecting and appear to be hiop for. 12) Do off to go to concerts with your Girlfriends son even if you can barely walk and are in pai. 13) Don't get insanely jealous over you brother and ex wife 14) Don't ever wear what Rishi was wearing this episode 15)Don't bother taliking to Lisa bu then i've said that for 1000 episodes as well. Analysis will be very patchy this week a trials are not my thing |

I couldn't believe it when David just barged into the doctor's room. All the doctors' rooms at my surgery have number keypads on the doors and you can't go in them unless you key in the right combination.

That's a very futuristic surgery you have there.
![]() They had a massive refurb a few years ago and that was one of the things they did. I think it's a good idea as that way there's no chance of anyone 'doing a David'.

I thought the whole thing with David's test results mix up was ridiculous. This is 2016 doctors have test results on computers so there is very little chance of a mix up. I guess this scene was Ian McLeod's changing the direction of David's story but I think they could have handled it a different way.
The doctor could have had a patient in there having an intimate examination ( and I don't mean Belle). The whole scene was silly as doctors now work off computers, the paperwork is handled by clerks.
That's a very sweeping statement - different medical authorities have different ways of working. I'm speaking from experience here, having lived in two different parts of the country, thus coming under two different medical authorities. |

Analysis of Emmerdale Characters.
Bear in mind since I didn't watch the court scenes I got most of my info about the court from Big Gob Chas even though she wasn't in court either. 1) Big Gob - dear big gob the whole reason you weren't in court in the first place is because you are a witness ( more like witless) and shouldn't know what's going on in court let alone going to shout at Gordon about it who will no doubt use it against you in court in due course. 2) Did Gordon just admit to Perjury when saying he gave Aaron an alibi? 3) Crybaby - looked like he was doing a lot of crying while I Fast Forwarded his scenes) but I could care less. 4)David got advice from Zak and showed a brave face 5) Zak - Fulfilled a purpose for the first time in ages. 6) Megan very bossy at Christening and then bolted from the stable when things went wrong. 7) Leyla not at her best after David's news. And the Christening scenes were quite funny in this enforced short ep for me. |

Analysis of Emmerdale Characters
The trial continues to bore and Kwynne has complained to OFCOM about Emmerdale falsely claiming there were upsetting scenes in the epiosde 1) Liv - Kwynne actually watched her give evidence the only evidence I've scene from this stupid case, great little actress she is, Liv didn't really want to upset anyone until crybaby blundered in and refused to let her stay,. 2( Crybaby - never knowingly do the right thing, would it have put him out much by promising to let her stay when not really meaning it. 3) Robert - A shell of a character these days. 4) David named his bits and now sad to lose him, trying to do the patented soap thing of pushing all his friends and relatives away when he should be relyi ng on them, why do soap character do that, its annoying and makes bad drama. 5) eric might not cope if David dies. Sidebar - not exactly encouraging for people with this disease is it, likely to scare them unnecessarily. 6) Megan and her baby's christening part 2 - so bored by this point I Fast forwarded through that as well |

I agree the trial has been boring as most soap trials are, the only soap trial I ever enjoyed was Marty's rape trial on One Life to Live, Kate Oates should have watched this trial for notes on how to make a trail entertaining.
About Robert, I think he redeemed himself last week when he left Lawrence to die, that was the real Robert ![]() I said yesterday I hate all TV trials, I was mistaken i love that O J Simpson American Crime Story thing and that's entirely about a trial heh. |

Marty had been gang raped by 4 frat guys and no one believed her because she had a reputation of a party girl and had mistakenly accused another character Kevin of being involved in the rape. It was big umbrella story that involved most of the cast, some siding with Marty and some siding with her attackers, you had Nora as the defense attorney and her ex husband Hank as the prosecutor, but what really made the story was when Nora realized her clients were guilty and threw the trial in her closing arguments letting the jury know that she believed her clients were guilty. Here's a clip of Nora's closing arguments it really was epic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_Kne26Yqt4 . |

Oh yeah The OJ Miniseries has been great, I think Courtney B. Vance stole the show though as Johnny Cochran. Also just a fun fact for you I bet you didn't know that they blame the real OJ trial for the death of soaps in the US.

Sons and Daughters was my mums favourite afternoon Aussie soap, had lots of rich people being nasty to each other and had several of the current stars of neighbours and Home & Away.
