Nothing against the actor bit I've never liked marlon- in fact I hate the character. As the balance has shifted now since losing Val and Ross ( two great characters) , and keeping all the crap, the shine has come off the programme for me so we'll see if I stick with it through every episode from now on.

Agreed!

If only Marlon (along with Lisa and Sam, had they attended the wedding) could have been a crash fatality! But seeing as he is a Dingle, that was unlikely.

I feel the same. I do think the wee girl is good at the part but they focus too much on her. The girl who plays Sarah was really good on Wednesday but the focus was.almost entirely on April and Marlon.

In fact he probably upset the other kids. He'd have been better to leave them and go into another room. It frightens young children when an adult gets into such a state.

I feared the worst when he started talking about Debbie and how he hadn't been there for her when she was growing up. I really thought he was doomed at that point.

I spent the whole week beforehand convinced that he couldn't survive another brush with death. Ruined my week, it did

Yes I know It's a soap.”

In response to both posts, I would have found it more poignant to have Ruby in the final scene. The producers were looking to have this episode end where the next one would begin.

Indeed, Dan and Kerry have gone up in my estimation for making sure that they supported Ruby, and made sure that she did not feel alone and could air her final thoughts.

Considering that the Tuesday - Thursday episodes represented the same day in the village, Ross would have sustained several impacts through Cain pushing him over, jumping into the lake, Pete knocking him onto some concrete etc. Mind you, as I think has been said, he did not look dead but merely unconscious.....

Hello, I thought of try posting here rather than spamming with a new thread- does anybody know if there is any way of watching the last few months of emmerdale episodes online? I've watched the ones on itv player, but is there any way of watching the episodes before that?

If not then I guess I will have to do a lot of reading up on storyline, thanks either way!

If you are familiar with using torrents there is a site called tvchaosuk.com that has torrents has episodes of all the soaps and the files go quite a ways back.

This is s double edged sword. But, in my humble opinion, we should all be hoping Michael Parr, goes on to land some good roles, thus meaning he doesn't return to Emmerdale.
Plus, If he's a success, that will stop Spungey returning to gloat about another failed soap star.

Sorry to sound so thick, but has Ross actually gone gone? I have visions of him rising from the makeshift grave and walking into ED with just a mild headache!

Oops, didn't see the "Is Ross Barton dead or alive" thread. Sorry.

He isn't dead.

On another note has Hound of Love been around since Ross' death? I haven't seen him on here since then. Is he MIA because he is mourning the fitcarjacker?

You're welcome, FYI if you're going to download torrents you will need a program like uTorrent to download the the files.

We all know Ross isn't dead.

But how long are they going to string it out before they reveal it on telly, that is the question??????

I hope they don't leave it too long.

And I'm really not looking forward to the Ali Spencer grief scenes which are sure to feature her gurning face, straining neck muscles and probably lots of snotty tearful shouting.

Just don't bother having her come back. Let us hear Rachel on the phone to her planning to meet up wherever Ali is supposed to be and let us see Rachel leave to go and start a new life with her sister.

Ruby doesn't need an onscreen Funeral or to be buried in the Village cemetery.
If Viv Windsor can be sent off with just Marlon reading a poem in the Pub to a few people, then Ruby can be sent off quietly too.

And another thing.......

Emmerdale wardrobe department really hit on a good thing when they bought that fabric to make Debbie's wedding Dress and Sadie King's trouser suit.
That fabric is like Teflon.

Pete buried him under some leaves.
Ross will just sleep everything off and carry on just like he would with a bad hangover.

All the jolly little woodland animals will have found him and woken him up by snuffling gently at him with their wet noses.
Then he will have wandered deeper into the Woods and been nursed back to health by a kindly old woman who bakes pies and makes potions.

And you just KNOW that Pete will decide he needs to actually bury his body and when he goes back to where he left Ross there will be no Ross there either a dead one or an alive one.

I'm ok...I was initially gutted (although the Ross dissers probably had the party poppers out), but as he is more than likely to make a comeback (maybe this will coincide with Dour Debola leaving, sadly not for good, but due to her real life maternity leave), I feel fine!

I don't think she'll ever leave for good.
And if she doesn't ask to see Sarah and Jack tonight I'll be going round to put powdered glass in her sugar bowl.

Sarah was crying when Marlon came and hugged April - I know Rhona had her arm around Sarah, but she didn't give her a proper cuddle and Sarah needed to see her Mum, Her Grumpy AND her Dad at that moment and she was just left alone to cry and not being told properly what was going on!!!!!!!

Hoping it is a kindly old woman because if it is a kindly old man Ross will likely bash him about the head and add to the NHS bed problems. Hoping Ross is dead but I know Emmerdale will have him return without a scratch and having learned nothing and he will continue to make life hell for everyone around him.

Ah, that is really sweet, chitarivera. But I would rather the woodland animals tore Ross to pieces and scattered his remains over a wide area.

Maybe when he wanders back into the village he will have insomnia?
Kate Oates likes to repeat storylines, and Jimmy lost his memory a while ago, so maybe she's decided to regurgitate that one for our viewing delight.

Or, maybe his knock on the head will have made him start speaking in a foreign language.
Like Geordie or Makem as a tribute to Val.

I'd rather have a DS Soap forum free from trolls.
