You know how it works Mark. Anything that involves Aaron (Pads and Chas getting together again would involve him) has to end badly so we get some crying scenes.

If Chas sleeps with Robert I'm done, The Ross/Charity thing was bad enough as the writers just threw it in at the last minute for the extra drama. Robert and Chas would be something Hollyoaks would do.

I don't watch Hollyoaks so I can't compare but when you look at some of the storylines Emmerdale has run lately, would Rob sleeping with Chas at some point be all that shocking? We've had Kirin/Vanessa/Adam, Ross/Charity/Debs/Pete...

It would be in poor taste, a mother sleeping with her son's DL bisexual lover would top anything they've done recently. Plus it would destroy Chas' relationship with Aaron, don't you want to see him happy for a bit?

As a result, I consider you the easiest person to share this tale with. For the August Bank Holiday I planned a daytrip to Liverpool & the Wirral. However, it was more of a novelty than expected being back in Liverpool, and so I felt like seeing more of the city. Then, when the enormity of this being Ruby's stomping ground hit home, I abandoned plans to include Wirral in favour of seeing more of Liverpool instead! So soon after her time in ED had come to an abrupt and tragic end, this felt a highly appropriate tribute to Ruby.
