Anyone bought it?

I'm thoroughly loving the whole album. Not what I expected. Amazing lyrics (as usual), and alot of the compositions are not typical verse/chorus fodder - Roisin has described the backing tracks as 'landscapes', and that is a fitting description, I kinda see them as sonic poems. Takes a few listens to appreciate it, apparently there's another probable companion album to come! GAG!

She's made a video for one track 'Evil Eyes' which truly needs to be seen on youtube!

Aiming for the London live show in October... I wanna see those costume changes!

I bought it on release. I didn't really take to it on first listen but it kinda grew on me after a while. It's a lot different and more 'artsy-fartsy' than Overpowered, which IMO is still her best solo album.

Absolutely! Been watching the various live performances she's been giving which are on youtube. Haven't seen her live yet & I cant make the Eventim Apollo show in London this 27th Nov. I could cry bitter tears, but hopefully i'll see her one day.

Its such a slow grower, the album, everytime I play it, something different pops out at me, lyrically & sonically. That doesn't happen much in this day & age...

For me, shes up there with Bush/Ferry/Bowie. Its pop-ART. Lyrics/sounds/imagery/esoteric meanings. Makes ya fink!

Really hope the companion album comes out next year & that she releases a live album of the new material, as she likes to evolve the material live in a live setting, which is an added boon for me. Costumes as ever brilliant.

One day I must get me a Christopher Coppens hat/mask/thingamy!

This album is amazing. Exile & Exploitation are just fantastic, the whole album is perfection.

Well, she's already returned with 'Take Her Up To Monto' - the 'difficult' sister album to Hairless Toys...

And I absolutely LOVED it on a par with Hairless Toys. So rich, textured & still I'm soaking in it....

Shes just about to embark on her first solo tour of the US & apparently is already making new music as we speak.

GOOD LUCK ROISIN!
