One cannot have a hero, unless there's a villain. So marc is just acknowledging

villain
[vil-uh n]

noun
1. a cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness or crime; scoundrel.

I imagine part of the exposition is that there is no "villain" and therefore Danny is not the "hero" he is portraying himself to be.

No acknowledgement here.

Only in Danny's tiny mind.

Marc is the one who is calling Danny a "hero" when he talks back to Marc, therefore he is acknowledging that he's the villain. At least, in his mind.

Doesn't make the fake hero a man of values either.

Malicious and wicked...... bloody hell do people live in the real world to think marcs the epitome of this decription.:

Or highlighting that Danny and his ilk are trying to tar him as said villain in order to appear as a hero to the viewing public.

Marq is acknowledging Danny "thinks" he's the hero. But only in Danny's fabricated narrative. Marq doesn't believe it to be true in any "real" sense.

We saw how aggressive Danny got when Marc was reading him like a book.
Bottom line is that Danny shouldn't have poked his beak in when Marc was asking Nick a question, and he was out of order trying to goad Marc into hitting him.
I'm glad it backfired on Danny and that Marc is simply too clever for him”

What the f*** are you blathering on about? It was an argument between two daft geezers who can't take a few beers. Stop with the idiotic hero worship and you might be able to see the show as it actually is.

Wow. Delusional. Those are MARC's words. He's on the one making the claim. Not me. Not Danny. No one else. MARC is.

He's just not acknowledging that it makes him the villain.

The only thing he exposed is his inability to take a drink without acting like an arse.

As a member of said public, I can see very clearly what Danny is like - a decent bloke, who doesn't get his rocks off goading and tormenting other people.

Ring a bell?

Christian got marc right marc knows how to please people and he is playing with u all including the audience. The moment he said to helen 'dont calm down coz this is is making me look good' opened my eyes and showed me his true colours he is a nasty scramer putting on the I want to go home card and how he doesn't want to win and if he did he would give away the money. The guy can leave at any time!! its not like he is getting paid to stay there!!

We're with marc on that one.... none of us do.

Danny trying to make himself be portrayed as the hero by defending the poor little vulnerable lambs..... sorry adults within the house. Yawn! He must think the public are gullible mugs.

Again the phrase is still in debate, their is no evidence/facts of it being broken up or one a continual flow.

I imagine marc earns enough I don't think money is his mainpriority though wed all like it wouldn't we if were given the chance.

Marcos wanted to go home for some time but he wants his exit I assume most do rather than taking the losers way out. Someone as hyper as marc is naturally gone feel constrained so I don't see why its so unbelievable. plus now Helen has gone he probably finds it much more boring so he's unoccupied once again.

No he just looks to argue with people over minor issues, flips over very little and threateningly invades peoples space in order to threaten violence, oh and he also throws objects at people when he's angry...... he may be a normal guy be he ain't no saint either.

Even if goaded or irritated your still responsible for your own behaviour and responses. The guy has no self control clearly. If you went around reacting like Danny in everyday life every time someone annoyed you you'd be locked up if it turned violent.

He keeps going on about it though. He is messing with th public I can see it and the british public fall for people like him who claim they don't want to win and stuff if people say they do want to win then the public always feels the need to put them down when the person is clearly just being honest.

Marc and Danny's willy-waving is quite pathetic and it's getting boring.

Nick is a spineless slime, eons worse than Sam, and I think Marc is looking to expose that.

If Helen was there she would've said he looked like a you know what. He did.

I think people are past caring if they want to win or not, I know I am. they all wanna win to a degree its just whether people see it as their number onw priority or not and whether they'd do anything to obtain it is what differs between each one of them.

I'd assume given the opportunity like others marc would like to win but I don't think he thinks that hes in with a genuine chance particularly now knowing Helen is 'hated' and being her closest ally.

Personally if I had to choose id rather them all just admit it, who wouldn't want too? it does however make you question those that withhold the truth ie nick as you wonder if they are refraining from stating their desire to win because it may make them look bad to the public.

I adore nick but I've lost alot of respect for him this week, not only is he a clear fence sitter overall he can only find his opinions and voice when backed by Nikki.

I could totally see that coming when that Ash woman said "when Helen goes Mark will not say boo to a goose. Helen is his backbone". Mark has been consistent so I guess Ashleigne (sp?) hadn't been watching the show. Anyway, as soon as she said that I thought of those predictable cop movies when one is going to retire the next day and gets shot. I knew Marc would be consistent and not loose his backbone (Helen wasn't his backbone).

I'm not impressed with that Ash person who came off as a fool and a liar
