Because Marc caused that tonight? It wasn't Danny getting all riled as he was pissed?!

As for the OP, they have had a love/hate thing for a while now. Its an odd dynamic as when they argue it really seems like they hate each other.

Trouble is the berks at channel 5 say live feed doesn't make enough money for them. Channel 5 feel like they have to cover things up. I think their setting it up for their fave marc to win and I wouldn't be at all surprised if marc has a relative who works backstage at endemol.

bib - that's the first time I've seen somebody say that this year, you win the prize There isn't a year that goes by that somebody doesn't say it

As Cristian says, 'He's very good at making people like him. After arguments, he'll take people who have pissed him off aside, manipulate them and bring them back on board'.... 'He's playing a big social game, so when it comes to nominations he can survive longer'.

Perhaps he's not just a pretty face.

In actual fact I can see marc, simon, Harry and Sam being signed to the richard Desmond talent agency northern and shell when they go out of the house. Richard Desmond loves people who generate a scandal and probably gonna pick the right four to be his clients. No wonder why everything is so higgledy piggledy.

Danny is an opportunist, not a friend

Yes it seems that it's all he is.
Because what you just quoted is the way that most of them behave in there.
If what he describes is a bad thing in his mind, then it's self-incriminating.

Taking some of that quote at face value, "He's very good at making people like him". So that's a bad thing why exactly? He made people like him, what am I missing here?

"He'll take people who have pissed him off aside, manipulate them and bring them back on board".
Isn't that how people normally handle conflict resolution in a sensible and rational manner?

"He's playing a big social game, so when it comes to nominations he can survive longer".
Yes, and that big social game is Big Brother where the object of the game is to survive longer. Pretty much how most of them in there do it, and arguably more so than Marc.

So yes, it appears that he is actually just a pretty face. Because he's yet to impress me with any hidden depths of observational skills, intelligence or individual thought.

They behave more like a couple who fancy each other to me.

I hope them "getting along" does not mean more of NoMarc bear hugging Danny from behind while dressed in those stupid pants. Invasion of personal space or what.

True, Marc does not trust anyone in there, he is after one thing only, the money. Nothing wrong with that, Marc is only trying to recoup his vast losses.....i.e. Helen and Simon, by AGAIN taking Sam aside and desperately filling her head with HIS ideas, hoping she will be daft enough not to use the brain provided for her.

What made me laugh in the highlights.......Marc sitting and rattling off at 1000 words per minute at Sam, telling her why she should do this or that, or think this way or that. In the background are the other HMs having a good laugh.

What is entertainment......Marc trying to gain a posse around him like before, or watching the others enjoying themselves.

BB has been so short of fun this year, must we be subjected to everything that comes out of his mouth, it is all so boring now the Marc and whoever he is talking to Show.

I often find is amusing that we share so much outrage on behalf of housemates yet usually by the time we see arguments they are getting along just fine.

That said, I do think with Marc, that Danny and Cristian tolerate him to an extent for the sake of keeping the peace in the house. This means that we get an air of civility with an undercurrent of tension and hostility, peppered with occasional outbursts.

Danny is either stupid or thick, he works in construction so he know the craic , chance are at work he does it all the time. In the house he took on the role of looking after that core group, he does it so badly as they are 20+ and don't need a body guard they can speak for themselves. When Marc arrived back from the bunker Danny knew Marc had a certain amount of public support, the support that the fun loving construction worker Danny should have had , but it was too late his role had been cast.

I am wondering what Danny's next move will be , stay as he is or join forces with Marc and bring some fun and laughs to the house. I hope its the latter if not at any time marc will cast his fishing rod and reel him in again, as Marc is an expert at this.

Since Joel nominated him for sitting on the fence it's been non stop arguments and rows from him lol... also is it just me or is he looking rougher/older by the week? Marc knows how to push his buttons and there is bound to be another row soon. Guess we know who Marc and Danny will nominate this week - Marc will nominate Danny (and maybe Jack) while Danny will nominate Marc (and either Sam/Joel)

Marc should really stay away from Danny now after his threatening behaviour
