You haven't imagined those things, but you may have imagined what those things mean!

If they are protecting anyone it is Danny because he should have been removed for getting in Marcs face and throwing a sandwich at him.

Really??? Sometimes I wonder if some FMs ever venture out of their bedrooms.

Didn't you play fight with your siblings/cousins as a child? Haven't you done it with a lover? Its playful and affectionate, I don't understand people like you

No, I haven't imagined what they mean...they mean power, intimidation, control and in Chloe's case, pain. All done to amuse himself.

I find Mark funny to watch but would hate to live with him,a pain in the but yes but never intimidating you have to look at Danny for that Mr nice guy until he loses his rag then he's very scary.Never been scared of Mark but Danny I would give a wide berth.

He uses 'play'fighting to assert his physical dominance.
He uses abusive 'banter' to assert his control over women.
He uses controlled, aggressive questioning to assert his power by tying others in knots and twisting their words to harm them.
He uses calm, 'reasonable' discussions, the next day, to reassert his dominance.

There is nothing 'menacing' about Marc ... he hasn't made anyone feel threatened or worried that he might become physically aggressive ... ever”

On the odd occasion yes he has.

Out in the garden three maybe four episodes back Danny walked past him and Marc followed up behind and locked him in a bear hug, Danny struggled to un-break the clinch and this went on for at least 30 seconds. Danny ended up facing a wall struggling to escape with Marc at his back.

I'd say it was clowning around except Marc's shown sign's of controlling behavior with Danny and Sam all the way through the series.

I see what you mean OP but invading peoples space and constantly picking at people because they know they're scared could be deemed intimidating. Imagine meeting someone for the first time and them telling you on t.v the results of your std test are in?

I agree that he does cause drama in the house, If the other housemates are stupid enough to rise to Marc goading them, then thats there problem.

He would be a pain to live with, but this series would have died on its ar5e, if he had not gone in, all they seem to do is sit about in their housecoats or lie in bed.

Can you remember back to the first few weeks of this series before Marc went in even the forum was quiet, now..................

No I am an only child. I don't understand people like you either who still have not realised that people are different. It's something I learned as a child which is why I started by saying "It depends on how the individual would take it". What one person likes another may dislike. What is welcome by one is not by another.
Marc's playfighting is an act of dominance which would be met by my immediate natural instinct of a smash between the legs as I would feel attacked.

As for the "lover" comment, I don't know what relevance that has here.
