I may be missing something obvious here but surely with BT TV you get a PVR as part of the package that gives you the extra broadband based channels. So what TV you have is irrelevant as long as you have the ability to plug the BT TV box into it.

Not seen any bt sport app on my samsung smart tv, i'm a bt mobile customer and have the btsport app sideloaded onto my firetv box.
I think you can hook your laptop/pc to your tv via hdmi and watch bt sports via the website on your computer. |

Free BT Sport with BT Infinity is not the same as BT TV. With BT Infinity only you will get BT sport via the Internet on your PC/Laptop or on a mobile/tablet with the BT Sport App. There are no Apps for smart TV's.
You can stream from your mobile/tablet to your TV via devices such as Chromecast or Apple TV or a direct cable connection between them. Of course this method depends on the capabilities of your devices. If you want to record BT sport then you need to subscribe to BT TV via BT's Youview box, Sky or Virgin. |
