How to revert location back to original?
So a few months ago,I used a link on a thread on here to change my location to one of a US one on Unblock us.I haven't used Netflix since but wan't to restart my mebership but can't as now it seems Netflix have found out and won't let me access the website AT ALL and it just comes up "SSL connection error"..Since my free trail on unblock us has ended,I have no idea how to change my location back to it's original(Ireland) and access Netflix again as usual..

Have you removed unblock-us settings from the device you set it up on?
The unblock-us website will give you full instructions how to remove their dns settings. |

Are you talking about TV settings or on a PC?

After changing my location back to original and having access to Netflix for a day, I'm now unable to access again due to the same reason... Anyone know why?

It doesn't help you're being very vague about how you're using it all, if the issue is on PC it's possible some app or setting is changing the DNS back when you reboot, check that your PC's DNS is set thus: http://i.imgur.com/HttZAQV.jpg you should be able to figure out how to get to that setting by looking at the title for each element in the pic.
Did you install any app to change/configure your DNS? Personally I do most of my DNS changes via batch file it's the quickest and simplest way, double click a shortcut on my desktop to use Unlocator for alternate Netflix then double click an OpenDNS shortcut to change back to my regular location. It's pretty easy to do. Create a .bat file (ie text file but renamed to .bat instead of .txt) called OpenDNS.bat and insert: ipconfig /flushdns netsh interface ip set dns name="Ethernet" source=static addr=208.67.220.220 netsh interface ip add dns name = "Ethernet" addr=208.67.222.222 pause Save it and when you double click it it will change your DNS to openDNS, or replace the DNS in there for your smart dns, I keep mine saved on the desktop if you get an error it needs to run elevated then create a shortcut to it and you can set the shortcut to run as administrator. |
