Any kind of food (aslong as it is not fast food) and within 10-15 minutes walking distance
put a google map up of the arena, it is just behind/ to the side of the merrion centre. at the back of the merrion is a wetherspoons pub, its called the twisted something! looking at the map again, there is a shopping centre called the light, this is a good place to go has a nandos, browns and an all you can eat buffet. the buffet is nice and does all kinds of different foods so if you both fancy different things its a good choice tho it gets busy on sat evenings. back to the map, see leeds trinity, that is probably at the end of your 10-15 min walk but all the main players are there and they have trinity kitchen. take a look on the website. or there is this steak place nearby. I am gonna check google cos I am not sure how you get there from the arena. edit sorry its to the right and down a bit but can't remebr the name its on a corner of the busy road tho. |

The Wetherspoons is called 'Stick ot Twist', due to it being sighted near a casino. It's not a great place.
There are, as someone has said, loads of places around the arena. It's in Leeds City Centre. Leeds City Centre is one of the most compact of the big cities of the UK. You can walk from one side of it to the other within about 15 minutes, so everything is close at hand. |

Hiya , First Direct Arena is pretty much in the middle of Leeds, you'll have no problem finding a decent eatery, the Merrion Way has recently been poshed -up and has some lovely places.

Hi, if you want to eat really close to Leeds Arena I'd recommend LAB Bar http://www.lab-leeds.co.uk/
We usually try to eat there when we go the arena, it's quite a small menu but nice food and they're pretty quick to serve as they know most people are going to shows. It's quite small downstairs but there's a bigger dining room and terrace upstairs. It's on the corner of the Merrion Centre (where you can park for the arena) opposite the Wetherspoons ![]() You can also book a table in the restaurant at the arena for some shows, they get booked up quickly and give priority to VIP but it's worth trying to book in advance and again the food is pretty good Hope that helps. And enjoy the show - I'm going to see it in Birmingham next week
