He's totally self centred but apparently Harry is to blame for being too attached, despite the fact that when she tells him to piss off he's the one slithering back to her and reprimanding her for over reacting. Just because she expects that doesn't make her some kind of clinger. That's Nick.”

I hope y'all be getting out the vote for Harry. This is the most important eviction in a generation.

Harry's problem is she does not really talk about anything. She flies of the handle every time just storms off and sulks. Every couple will do things that annoy the other person but you have to communicate those feelings.

Trying just to talk to her is like running on hot coals you have to say just the right words as not to upset her. Poor Nick is scared stupid he is going to say the wrong thing.

'Oh I can never talk' she screams. What she really means is you lot don't agree with me. Frankyl they don't. In the broken monotone voice she moans on and the rest of them can hardly keep a straight face. I feel sorry for Nick as he tries to put some humour into the situation to make her lighten up.

'Why so serious'. She is just a total control freak to the point of being slightly mental about it. I dont know how anyone could live with that she such sucks the fun out of any relationship. Who would have thought that on the day she turned up that she would be the dull boring one.

They're not love's young dream to be sure. Drifted together in the house and now both feeling loyalty to each other. But not really suited at all.

Harry is a control freak and she is so controlling over Nick, he just needs to grow some balls!

I think he treats her reasonably well but he's clearly very inexperienced and immature.
What he does do is hold his hands up and take the blame

I don't think Harry treats him well either, they are not suitable to be together, neither of them know the slightest thing about maintaining a healthy relationship.

Iv never got the love for nosepicking Nick. I think he's a spineless little twerp and lacks loyalty and courage. I think itvsuits him to play the martyr with the gf as a shrew. They are as different as chalk and cheese and he will defo mug her off once out of the house in no doubt his classic gutless fashion. I'm not keen on Harry, I think she's thick and slovenly but I think she does genuinely like him so fair play to her.

Yeah, like I said in a previous post, they're both to blame as they both treat each other badly, and are not a good fit at all. I still like nick though, I don't think he's a bad person, but he's not coming across well while mugging her off.

A few days ago to marc, he said words to the effect of ' I didn't like her this morning, it made her uglier or me dislike her more'

then went and cuddled her......... I don't mind nick, but I don't see anything from him apart from harry being weird sulky moody dominant and him doing that hair/face touchy saying sorry a lot to her

This. I agree, she's always trying to make him feel guilty. I have no sympathy for her. She's controlling and manipulative.

They have a toxic control drama going on that kind of fits their personalities. She's got the emotional age of a 13 year old, veering between controlling him with passive aggression to dismissing him like she's a domineering mother. He's an effete wimp who'll endure whatever it takes to get his leg over and will bolt from her tout de suite once he has.

I don't get a sense, despite his weakness, that he especially likes being dominated, or at least not when the dominatrix is this high maintenance. Maybe I'm wrong though and it's a match made in sado-masochistic heaven.

On the other hand, he really does need to get himself a spine.”

I share different opinions on some things from the people I'm close to, and we agree on others. They brought me up to think for myself

ETA: Nick should try it sometime ”

I've began to like Harry when it wasn't fashionable to do so ...
Harry is a very intriguing Housemate. She has more to her than the likes of Cristian, Chloe, Jack, Nick, Danny & Sam, they're one dimensional characters who are so predictable.
All they think about is how the public are perceiving them, where as Harry doesn't give a toss.

Nick is very disloyal towards Harry ...
His "Bed hopping" & giving affectionate cuddles to Nikki under Harry's nose.
Nick ALWAYS talks about Harry behind her back & always negative. Not once have I heard Harry bitch about Nick behind his back.
Nick doesn't have Harry's back and NEVER supports her when the rest of the house where laying into her.

Harry is a very independent and strong woman who has gone through shit through out her life, she has pulled it together against all the odds.
I admire Harry & she deserves a REAL Man who respects & loves her for who she is, not this wishy washy Nick who is only thinking with his d*ck.

It has to be one of the least easy to watch showmances in BB history, topped only by Ziggy and Channelle, and Craig and Anferny.

I really don't know what either of them are getting out of it other than airtime, and there has to be a big question mark over whether that's worth it if you are putting yourself and your partner through an utterly miserable, not to mention unentertaining time. Still, I suppose it may help some people out there to realise they are in a shit relationship, so all is not lost.

Yep.
a fact as usual lost on the masses.

She is horrid to him. He needs to stand up for himself and get a bit of confidence.
Tell her to grow up and treat him with respect.
I remember watching coach trip where a wife made the choice of the votes because she was unhappy with something.
The husband said this was all her choice which it was and naturally all the women were telling her she should speak up and he should support her.
Choosing the vote apparently isn't having a voice and no-one said to her that she shouldve only chosen something her husband agreed with.

Yet with the vote why is no-one saying harry should support him. All of a sudden not blindly supporting someone is a good thing and being an individual.
Everyone here knows insecure harry wouldn't flown of the handle and had yet another manipulative hissy fit if nick has questioned her.

Strong independent woman my backside.
That's only said to excuse a poor personality.

The gender politics are astounding.

Nick's actually got worse and worse as this series has gone on.

He treats Harry like shit. He's boring. He's bitchy. He can't make any decision for himself and the OTT fake rubbish about how he is scared of eviction is overdone.

Good post, I think you describe them perfectly.

Nick showed his true colours by the way he was slyly grinning as Harry was speaking to him last night.
And later on when he did the noms he was confident and confrontational to Marc where he's normally picking his face, nose etc. I think his true colours are that he's much slyer and more of a game player than we've been led to believe by his gauche, poor me appearance.
