I agree. It seemed totally hypocritical. God forbid anyone else should be allowed to express an opinion.

He yells SHUT UP as a delaying process so he can think of the word he wants and practice how to sound it out before saying it.

Danny is nothing by himself, he has to have somebody that he thinks he needs to stand up for to feel like a man.

Yes, and the joy of BB of yesteryear was likely as not we would see an arrogant loser like Danny eventually get his comeuppance .. nowadays he'll very likely glide through unscathed, and probably even win .. depressing.

Cristian should have known better than to impinge on his airtime. Especially when Danny was in full hero mode. Christian forgot his place and needed to be told. He's Danny's bitch, nothing more.

Yeah, Harry tried to express her opinion to Nick and was immediately shut down by Danny too. She should have asked his permission before daring to speak.

That's kinda why I have some respect for Marc now. Surely he knew by Helen's reaction from the crowd that things might not be going well for him, but he still has been fairly consistent in his behaviour and doesn't bend when confronted by Danny and the rest. Don't like Marc, but he's a strong person, you know/

He's been hiding the real him trying Templar Mr nice guy and cruise through, marc irritates him that much its making his true aggressive nature come out.

You can only get angry and aggressive if you allow yourself to let others get to you, Danny is responsible for his own behaviour. He's ostracised the newbie since they entered and stepped on his toes as its his house and since he's been continually trying to make them aware of their place by his sheep following suit. He's quite an unpleasant person when he shows his true nature, he ticks easily when he's surrounded by yes men but anyone challenges his control and he turns nasty. He loves to affirm his status with marc, and now he has his immature sheep surrounding him and powerful ex housemate ais he's showing his arrogance/dominance. Of course he could only do that once Helen left.

Exactly what I thought, because lets face it he's hardly the sharpest tool in the box.

I agree

And he can even comfort a person when he's had previous beef with them which takes a big person or apologise unlike Danny.

He's also doing well by not aggressively reacting.

Totally uncalled for as it wasn't Danny place but as per usual he wants to affirm his dominance.

Respect to harry and marc for being bigger people.

Yep, he's done himself alot of favours. Look, I'd say he'd drive me mad in real life but at least I'd know where I stood with him. Plus I'm Irish too so I'd tell him to shut the f%ck up once in awhile! He's a wally and a bit of a dick but I could deal with that cuz he's consistent. Hate group mentality stuff.

Just a nasty piece of work really. Can't for the life of me see how so many are taken in by this swaggering ignoramus.

I saw him snap at him, but what was it that he said?

He's complete style over substance. Every wordy battle he takes on exhausts him intellectually so he ends up losing his rag, which bothers him because he so wants to be some kind of daddy cool lounge lizard. Marc adores him though, and is really mourning the loss of his cuddle buddy/wresting partner.

He was like it in the early days of the house, when he told Harriot to "shut up", l think then Keiron was his voice of reason.

Since then he is surrounded by the a***licking clique, with no one to reign him in, he is too thick and full of his own importance.

Marc doesn't try and control people though. Danny pursued Jack to the bedroom to badger him about drinking apparently but really to stop him interacting with Marc.

Marc was spot on when he said Danny has nobody around him to say you were wrong then. They all support him slavishly.

Or all too scared to get on his aggressive side, funny when he got into Marc's face the other night, it was Nick who pulled him back initially.

I think he's getting frustrated with Marc. He's not very smart so he's getting aggressive to try and regain his alpha male status.

I can't stand Marc, but he is a lot smarter than Danny and Danny knows this.

I change my mind about Danny all the time. Sometimes I admire the way he stands up to Marc and defends others, as it often comes across as genuine. Other times, I feel like he is desperate to carve out a role for himself to retain some relevance in the house.

I really didn't like the way he shot down Cristian in last night's show; maybe Cristian shouldn't have interrupted but there was no need for Danny to be so rude about it - a simple, "one second, please" would have sufficed. (I'm assuming they made up afterwards and would like to think Danny apologised).

I find Marc very hard to bear, so am inclined to take Danny's side, but am starting to grow weary of his 'daddy of the house' act.

I think people are confusing acting like the daddy of the house and acting like an aggressive arrogant moron.
