Am I the only one to think that Joel is a bit prissy and Priggish and playing a big game ?

The only thing I can think of to say about Joel right this minute is how camp he was when he ran towards the outdoor buffet in the 80's task! It was pure Dick Emery

He seems to have been fairly quiet in there recently though, since his health issue.
ALthough for some reason it amused me when he stood behind the door when Nick was trying to get in from the other side! It was only for a few seconds and Nick walked in and said "oh, I was wondering why I couldn't get in" or whatever and that was it.
I mean, it wasn't the highlight of the series or anything, but just quietly amusing.....

He doesn't seem to do owt and is incredibly measured for a lad of his age which, i know isn't always a bad thing.

he's just ..well... a bit of a prig.

I think he is mature young lad who has been honest and fair to everybody in that house.

He has been brilliant the past couple of days, the footage is just never put on the main show.

The vids on the main site, show him full of life and enjoying himself.

Thanks for the info. I don't always keep up with the vids posted on the main site so I probably miss out on some good bits.

Anyway, I think Joel's probably a worthy winner of the series. Earlier on I was concerned with the Aaron situation that that might come to define his time in the house and be his big story, but its not talked about much now.

Also interesting that Marc seems to have genuine respect for Joel. I liked it when Joel's mum went in the house when they were doing the standing still task, and she thanked Marc for looking after/out for "my boy."

I really like Joel. He is very camp yet he is a stickler for rules. His is kind of bossy but in a good way and not a danny-bad-way!

No, no and no. He hasn't been well so is a bit quiet but I think he is a good housemate.

Thought it was very calculating and manipulative myself - kiss the playground bully's arse so he can't pick off your lad otherwise he looks like a ****.

That said, Joel is measured and calm beyond his years. He's alright, I just don't want to see him win.

Me neither.
Don't despise the lad but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him either.

I'm afraid I really don't like him. He's like the goody, goody, sneaky boy of the class.

Joel is a dour, vapid character. I can't understand why he's 4th fav on one of the BB polls.

What's wrong with playing a game? That is what the show is, I think he has been very consistent throughout the run

Because some people have a different opinion than yours, maybe?

I wasn't meaning for this to turn into a bashing thread really - I just thought he came across as a prig.
I wish they'd show more of him on the highlights though as I cant get the vids.
