The thing is they might get on okay outside. That place must be so intense. They can't get away from each other.

Yes this! It is totally different outside when you can get away when people annoy you. In the house there is no escaping from Marc. Where is he supposed to go to clear his head?

John said to Marc before he left on that vid that he is the poison in the house and he gets on everyones nerve on purpose. And John should know because he was in there with him for 24 hours.

Yes I shared a flat with one of my best friends when we were about 18. We had some terrible rows and really fell out for a time. Thankfully, we grew up and moved on and are she's still one of my best friends nearly 40 years later. They do say the best way to ruin a friendship is to live together!
