It was most likely because Emma showed him a partial clip of Marc saying no-one in the house liked Simon, on his exit interview, BUT Marc was sticking up for Simon in the clip. In his eyes, he most likely thought Marc was not his mate and dissing him in the DR, hence his chant for Danny to win.

Most lightly ? Did it actually happen. And on Friday Simon actually said he likes Marc and thinks he's great. Doesn't sound like any one who saw some clip. But he still went on to say he wanted Danny to win. And gave reasons too.

Yay, he's got work out of this. Of course, his stay in there was about learning about himself and his journey to self enlightenment and all those noble things that Marc and Helen were accusing the others of, but not Showbiz Simon.
