The word "twist" is actually another word for "fix" in this show

"another exciting twist up big brother's sleeve" = We're fixing it to keep somone in for another week.

This word "twist" is used almost as frequently as the "rock the house" phrase that follows it.

Either the writers need a new Thesaurus ot they need to stop making their blatent Fixing of the rules less obvious if they want to keep the viewers.

I like the show but now every time I hear the word "twist" i want to switch over (In fact I did last time I sat through an ep of BOTS).

They have already put another 2 people up against Marc and Sam who have a landslide of the most nominations (by the proper rules they should be the only two up). But of course they need to keep Marc in by fixing it somehow for another week so they shove Jack and Harry in there too. Jack only got 2 moninations!!

Meanwhile there is to be a further "Twist" aka "Fix" which will no doubt serve to extend Marc's stay a little bit further.

I actually think the public would keep Marc in anyway, so it's not even necessary.

in your title you used the word "show" - that is the important bit you seem confused by... it is a "show"

The only unexpected 'twist' that saved Marc was when the Timewarp HMs stayed in the house for longer, meaning that Marc was immune that week. People who "loathe" Marc see a pattern of 'fixes' in that singular occasion.

Did the housemates nominate Marc when he went in that Timewarp Room thing? I can't remember. If they did you could say that was a twist as they nominate ppl to be evicted, they didn't know they were nominating ppl to be put in a secret room.

If the twist saves Marc, that would be grossly unfair. He got six nominations, Jack two.
So really he should be saved.
Marc says he is not bothered if he wins, put him up and let him go.

Totally agree, with 6 nominations it will be a disgrace if Marc is given immunity once again. Hasn't he only been up just the once for nomination since being in the house and then went into the secret room? How many times can 1 person have immunity? Oh let me think, Helen Wood had it for the whole series last year!!!!

Yes, it's not even fair on a winner who's been advantaged by it because, like Helen (and legitimately, in her case) it will always be thrown at her that she won as a result of a fix and, if Marc wins, regardless of whether he could have won anyway, it will be the same (although I'm sure the money helps dull the pain!).

Marc had 4 weeks when he couldn't be nominated; a new HM normally gets only 1.

His late entry was a twist too, so even that 1 was due to a twist.

Yes it's a show, but it's still conning people out of money, making them think they're voting to try make their favourite stay in and hopefully win, but BB have already chosen the winner they want.

They wouldn't. It is vote to evict and I think that enough people will be able see what a horrible a person and want to vote evict him.
