I LOVE Michelle, she's probablt in my top 3 ever along with Nikki and Aisleyne. It's a shame you don't get housemates like her anymore, she was normal and down to earth but so entertaining and unique. Plus she was never nasty or anything I agree, that made her more likeable.

I do think she was a bit disappointing in the ultimate one but she has definitely moved on in her life.
She is not someone you see a lot nowadays as she has rarely been on bots. She definitely isn't part of the bb hanger on scene like a lot of her now older era colleagues who still hang about |

I am also watching this series online (for the first time as I was only young when it aired) and I really like Michelle. I just find her hilarious.
Tbh the only ones in this series who I have disliked are Kitten, Ahmed, Becki and Jason. Absolutely amazing series. Puts the current one to shame. |

Loved her, she is married now with a daughter. When you look back the reasons she was hated were so petty and unfair, There was not a malicious bone in her body.

She was so good and she really benefited not only from the bedsit but her two screechy mates Emma and Marco leaving relatively early. If she stuck to that group she was just tarred with the same brush but Victor and Jason left her alone for most their stay.
It's crazy to think she was fav to win at one point. I do remember for the first time thinking BB set a HM up because they didn't want them ruining their final with Nadia the winner - during the wedding task which didn't quite work as well as they hoped so the following week they did the shackled to another HM one and she was finished. |

I really liked her too, I watched the first 10 episodes of that series a few weesk ago, then showed a friend fright night, to compare it to this bb (his first!!) and he LOVED it!! We are now re-watching the one with half wit in it, and already on day 2, its better than a nearly ending bb lol
I rem reading that she lost 3-5stone before going in the house, and when she came out she gained a lot of weight secretly eating, That's the last thing I read about her! She should be a in stars one, didn't they do that before on bb and victor n nasty nick went in??? |

Didn't like her as a person but she was an absolutely brilliant HM.
I think she came into her own when the appalling Emma and the screeching Marco left. |

I agree with all of you that said that the producers set her up to lose. She was the joint fav to win with Nadia after the judas kiss I think up until the wedding task...which was so blatantly set up to make her look bad. The shackle task was their icing on the cake to ruin Michelle's chances of winning.

The 2 fav moments of mine are when she sat outside the diary room munching on veggie burgers waiting for stu to come out, and in bedsit when she did a massive fart and Emma said "was that you !! " and she had a big grin on her face and proudly said "yes" !!

I didn't either. Although I didn't watch much of bb5
![]() I do think the passage of time and many of the horrors which have followed help some of their predecessors seem not quite so bad in hindsight. She'd possibly be more tolerable in today's BB. I am quite surprised by the adoration though

I think she's always been very well liked though. She came 5th in last year's DS favourite HMs of all time poll and 8th the year before that.

It's no wonder everyone reacted badly to Becki's 'Judas Kiss'. I was flippin' delighted
![]() ![]() I loved Michelle but I did think becki was treated unfairly. She was nice overall. |

I'm watching it too, on the recommendation of an OP and up to epi 45 at the moment - and I loathe and detest her with every fibre of my being. Horrid little girl. Victor on the other hand, makes me howl - like Marq is trying to be, but with real confidence

Michelle and Nadia are my favourite duo ever, they bounced off eachother so well, perhaps because they were both quite emotional but also slightly bonkers. When they first entered they took a bit of time to warm up to eachother, but then when Emma and Marco were gone it was up to them to represent. Which they did pretty well. Nadia bonded with Dan and Shell and Michelle kept Stuart from becoming a full-time Jungle Cat, allowing their group to basically take over the house and turn the Jungle Cats into an endangered species. Quote:
What made it worse was they showed a clip on BBLB where Becki said she was going to befriend the jungle cats and then take them out.
![]() I loved Michelle but I did think becki was treated unfairly. She was nice overall. But she did commit quite a few blunders that a newbie trying to integrate themself into the group really shouldn't do - making up stories and admitting she was a compulsive liar when she first met them, saying random wacky things during conversation that came across as an attempt to stand out, pretending to fall asleep during tasks which may have put it in jeopardy..... ect She certainly knew how to turn the cringe on, however she did handle Nadia's secret very maturely and tactfully. I was never quite sure what my opinion of Becki was. |

Definitely my favourite HM of all time. Before she entered the house, I was just a casual viewer. Afterwards, I was a BB obsessive. My forum name, is a tribute to the Geordie girl, who was born on Groundhog Day.
I still think the chain gang task, that was her eventual downfall, was fixed. No way was Dan heavier than Jason but they couldn't have him chained to Nadia. |
