Great to hear Tony Dorigo on co-commentary duty. He's been a studio pundit on Rock 'N' Roll Football Live once this season, but it's the first time he's been in the commentary box for Absolute since Jim Proudfoot's tenure as their commentator. I rate him highly. Perry Groves is filling in for Ian Wright on the phone-in. Also, it's notable that Jon Champion is absent once again despite the Rugby World Cup being over.

Villa/City - Alistair Bruce-Ball

Ross County/Celtic - Roddy Forsyth

Gainsborough Trinity vs Shrewsbury - Conor McManara & Steve Harper

Alan Green was meant to do the NLD derby but lost his voice, sounds like he turned up to the ground and was sent home!

They had other reporters at FA Cup games but I picked up the above from Twitter/or a quick listen again earlier of the NLD derby first half.

I'd imagine some of the reporters used for Final Score on TV also did 5Live, especially as many of them have reported for 5Live in the past.

Bolton Tower FM 107:4 Saturday 7th November
Bolton v Bristol City tried to record the commentary, unfortunately the reception is very poor in around the football ground but managed to get the names of the commentator and summeriser.
Chris Price and Gary Henshaw although I could not get the name of the host
Chris Price and Gary Henshaw are they both former footballers?

When I've listened to Tower FM Sport before, Paul Higgs has been their studio-based presenter.

While there is a former footballer called Chris Price (who didn't play for Bolton), Tower's lead commentator of the same name isn't him. Gary Henshaw is an ex-Bolton midfielder though.

For the record, talkSPORT didn't carry a simulcast of the FA Cup Second Round draw earlier, nor do they have a reporter covering FC United of Manchester v Chesterfield tonight.

That's strange, on the FA Cup Match of the Day on BBC Two on Sunday night, FC United v Chesterfield was trailed as being a commentary match on Radio 5 Live. Obviously there must have been a miscommunication between 5 Live and the people who do the graphics on the TV side of BBC Sport, I can't imagine plans for something like this would have changed at a day's notice.

I'm guessing 5 Live Sport simulcast BBC Two's broadcast of the FA Cup Second Round draw between 7-7.30pm last night and then did the Monday Night Club from there on in?
