Just finished it. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Will be replaying again in a few days on the harder difficulty.

That's great, I just can't play that fast. I'm still on chapter 8, i'm going full stealth and taking too many pictures. I'm loving it, but it will take me a while.

So decided to have a quick go and first impressions are really good. You read and hear how good this game looks, but you don't quite believe it until you seen it for yourself.
If I'm nit picking one small thing it is I wish they added a block button for melee fighting. |

After an early start with the game I'm rationing myself now. Probably do a chapter every night. Just done Chapter 11 and it has to be one of the best things I've ever experienced in all my years of gaming.
The size, the scale, the puzzles, the action, the visuals, the atmosphere...they all come together to deliver something magnificent. And then the cut scene at the end. Wow. There is even time for Naughty Dog to poke fun at themselves with a hidden trophy. I feel like I'm gushing, but who cares. Sheer brilliance. |

Just played through chapters 3-5 and it's getting better! Had my first proper gunfight and more beautiful scenery. Loved the scene in chapter 4 with Elena, that was a cute moment.

Traversal using the grapple is cool, I get a strange satisfaction from running round swinging my grapple like a handbag!
What can I say about how the game looks, at first I wasn't sure but once outside in the sunshine of Chapter 2, its really beautiful, honestly haven't seen better this gen. Can't say much about the gameplay other than this is Uncharted so I'm not expecting any issues. This isn't the sort of game I rush through, the story will unfold at my pace and that's going to be slow, I love these sort of adventures, it's the ultimate escapism for me, I actually wish I was there. |

The water is so beautiful.
I never really warmed to Sully in the other games but really like him in this. |

Up to Chapter 9 now. Amazing looking game and all but i'm very underwhelmed with the gameplay. The majority of the game seems to be climbing sections that offer no challenge whatsoever. I feel like i'm sightseeing rather than playing a game at times. Hopefully the action picks up for the second half of the game as these are the only parts that are genuinely fun and challenging at the same time.
So there you have it - I thought i would add some balance to counter all the gushing praise this game is receiving. Still enjoying it for what it is - A carbon copy of the last 3 games that went before it

I would agree that some comments can come across as 'sickly', but considering the polish that has clearly being applied in Uncharted 4, then we should overlook such comments for now credit where credits due.

Looking at my stats I've missed as many as I've found. I'm not fussed though on my first playthrough, with the Uncharted games I always mop up the treasures I've missed by replaying chapters later on. |

Just rewatched the original teaser trailer and interesting it hints at a VERY different story than the one we got. Clearly that's what the drastic changes were when the writing team changed.

So many things going on and they all flow together. If you aren't in love with the game after that, frankly you're dead inside. ![]() I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm kind of glad this is the last one. They can go out on a high and then go on to create brand new adventures with new characters, new settings and new gameplay. Between what ever they do next and the inevitable The Last Of Us 2, Naughty Dog's output is going to be really exciting for years to come. |

You can see how much Naughty Dog have grown in their story telling and cinematic set pieces and they've used all their experience from previous games and put together a really polished and amazing game.
With every game Naughty Dog release they continue to surpass themselves, which makes it exciting to see what else they will do with future games. |

I'm on chapter 8, which seems to take forever to finish(not a bad thing) I've only found about 8 treasures so far, From the last one I found I missed 10 before that. This game ND have hidden the treasures to the point I could finish the game finding less than 30% of them, Which in all previous games (excluding Golden Abyss) they were actual pretty easy to find(1st playthrough only).

Finished it. The last few levels were so pretty.
Spoiler
I only got 42 of the treasures. My stealth is crappy at the best of times but it was even worse with my trigger button getting stuck. Drake's gun often fired on its own alerting every enemy in area that I had arrived
