Been playing the Multiplayer over the last few days and so far I think its pretty disappointing compared to the last games. It all feels tacked on and rushed TBH.

Graphics don't look great, no statistic menus, limited mode / maps and the whole levelling system seem to have been removed. You can unlock stuff but there is nowhere to track that proper either. It all feels very rushed to have some sort of online at launch.

But the biggest problem is the lack of Arena mode, this was easily the best part of the online mode on both UC2 and UC3.

That been said I am enjoying myself, but the lack of content and a levelling system where I feel like I am working toward something will probably make this a short lived experience for me.

Exactly, I only played it to get the achievements and even simply playing through 5 matches felt like a slog, the minute I had all the achievements I bailed and I doubt I'll be re-visiting it, multiplayer in Uncharted 2 and 3 were surprisingly fun but this was just... unenjoyable really, it's a shame really, you have an amazing single player and then the multiplayer completely lets the overall package down.

Not that it matters though, the amount of people that buy Uncharted for the multiplayer is the same as the amount of people that buy CoD for the single player.

Time spent standing still: 52 mins
Treasures collected: 32 / 109
Journal entries: 12 / 25
Journal notes: 12 / 23
Optional conversations: 19 / 36
Total enemies killed: 573
Enemies defeated in a row without dying: 109
Hit ratio: 59%
Headshots: 63
Most headshots in a row: 3
Just finished first playthrough. My stats were:

My stats from my first play through (no spoilers)

Total playtime: 19 hr 28 mins
Time spent standing still: 1 hr 22 mins
Treasures collected: 43 / 109
Journal entries: 12 / 25
Journal notes: 13 / 23
Optional conversations: 24 / 36
Total enemies killed: 569
Enemies defeated in a row without dying: 79
Hit ratio: 72%
Headshots: 98
Most headshots in a row: 10

I'll give the multiplayer a go but I've never really been into it in any other of the Uncharted games. Then, I might go back and try and finish on crushing with help from the modifiers as I've never completed any of the previous ones on crushing. After that, I'll see what trophies I have left & maybe make an attempt on the platinum if it looks achievable.

Sad that it's all over but it got the finale it deserved. Looking forward to seeing what ND do next

I think there is a schedule for free MP DLC, so some of these things could be added. It's a bit annoying it's not there to begin with, but at least it's free.

This is the road map for it. http://cdn2-www.playstationlifestyle...yerroadmap.jpg

There should be a new mode coming soon, with new maps, then co op coming in Autumn.

Glad to hear co-op is coming later in the year. Looking at that picture it seems like it will be well supported. I will probably keep dabbling with the online until I Platinum the game and than shelve it until the Autumn when co-op arrives.

The graphics somehow managed to get better as you go a long, you think one level looked good then you'll move onto the next one and be amazed again.

When I go to chapter select to see what treasures etc I've missed, when I click on the chapter, it asks me to either create a save or overwrite one. If for example, I were to choose to replay chapter 7 & overwrite my save after the epilogue, will the later chapters stil be available?

I'd recommend just making a 2nd save file just to be 100% safe.

Done. Loved it

The only bit that *really* frustrated me was in Chapter 20:

Spoiler

The boss fight in Chapter 22 irritated me a bit, but was no way anywhere near as annoying as the one for Uncharted 2.

I'm currently using chapter select to mop up the missed treasures. I finished the game with 55, now I'm up to 70/109.

Don't worry, I'm currently doing just that to find all the treasures I missed first time round and you can safely overwrite your save file without losing any later chapters you already completed.

I think I was the first person on here to get the game, but it looks like I'll be the last one to finish it.

Finished it last night, loved it.

In terms of storytelling and structure, i think it's possibly the best I've seen in a game.

But in gameplay terms, it still had some annoyances, like failing to snap to cover because the camera wasn't pointing exactly the right way, or not letting me progress where I could tell I was meant to go, because I hadn't triggered a cut scene that had to be done first.

That's nitpicking though, overall it was epic.

Nope, I'm still on Chapter 9 as I'm taking it steady and playing once every couple of days, I don't like to rush through things lol.

Crushing difficulty is so annoying. I'm currently stuck at the shootout at the auction house because it's so ridiculously hard.

I still haven't finished yet either. Got on tuesday afternoon release day, But only just got onto Chapter 11, I really took my time with Chapter 10.... I found 12/16 rock cairns.

Usually i'd be all over these games, but knowing its the last one(likely) theres no rush and I dont want to sit around waiting for the Single player DLC.

I got 14/16 of those rock cairns on my first play-through, then found another while doing a treasure mop up using chapter select. I might need to consult a guide though for that elusive final cairn though.

Just finished it. Wow, what an experience. A friend summed it up by using that word too, that it was more than just a game. Naughty Dog are the developer to beat!

Finished with:

Total treasures: 59/109
Total journal entries: 17/25
Total journal notes: 18/23
Total conversations: 22/36

Not sure where those other fourteen conversations were happening! And probably my best total for treasures first time round in an Uncharted game.

Graphically, I would say this is the best game I've seen so far. The characters are so life-like. There wasn't a moment where I thought they looked less than human.

I can see the influence of The Last of Us in a slightly more serious tone and characters that are more fleshed out.

There are very few flaws but I would say there was a bit of overkill when it came to things that would break when you landed/walked/drove on them.

Anyway, they said this will definitely be the last UC game which is a shame. But I'd be game for a computer animated Uncharted movie!

They've made the treasures easier to spot and as far as i know, none of them are shoot and collect, thus no need for looking up trees and buildings etc. which was a pain in previous games.

The game stunning, totally impressing me.._
