I haven't looked at much Tomb Raider stuff on purpose. Especially with it already being out on XBox. All I know is it starts on a mountain, you learn Greek by looking at walls or something, and there are supposed to be more puzzles. I've also heard lot's of good things so i'm really looking forward to it.
I've completed Rise of The Tomb Raider and it is good, more tombs to explore but not very big and you are pretty much in one place again. I actually didn't like it as much as the last one.

Oh i'm with you, your talking about what you would like to see in the one after that. Sorry it's a bit muddled with the exclusivity deal. I think I'll get to play it in the Autumn. Which is good because i'm convinced Horizon is slipping to next year. I think i'd like a more globe trotting Tomb Raider.

I played Tomb Raider on PS3 and I remember enjoying it loads. It made up for the mess of the previous one which I am sure was the main reason I bought a PS3.

Anyway, back to Uncharted 4, I think I am on about chapter 16 and I am really enjoying it. I think the Stealth is better in this one than in the previous ones and I do enjoy the challenge of trying to complete little sections in stealth.

For some reason this Uncharted doesn't seem as linear and you can go and have a little explore (true in a very limited capacity)

One thing about ND, they know how to create a great plot. I'm hooked for that.

Question for those past chapter 16

Having finally complete all the Journal Entries it's interesting to go back and read all the ones concerning Burnes and his expedition. It puts a lot more weight on those bodies you find!

I think the amount of climbing in this one means that once it starts to be annoying, it can become borderline game breaking. If it's annoying near the beginning, then it is a real chore throughout. I've seen that complaint a lot. It sounds weird but I hardly noticed until I saw it pointed out on Gaf. I think I was too obsessed with photo mode, it's really distracting, the entire time I was thinking about how I could make a good picture, then suddenly I was in a firefight or cutscene lol. On a second playthrough I'm just breezing through anyway so it's fine for me.

Did you like the shooting compared to the others?

I actually think the climbing in this one is much better than the previous games in the series. There has been a few times where I ended up at a dead end because I was climbing in the wrong direction.

Need some help

Yeah, I enjoyed the climbing too, there has been a few times where I wasn't sure where to go. I understand complaints though, it never occured to me that there was too much climbing till I read about it. It's been fun for me though.

I know the bit you mean, I did it this way

It took a fair few tries for me, good luck!

Thanks. I'm finding the AI much more clever and responsive in this than in the previous instalments. I do rather like going about and stealth killing them.

I got some but I never went out of my way to collect them. I'm not really a fan of collectibles in linear games.

There was no more climbing in this than it was in previous games, you buy an Uncharted game and climbing is part of the deal.

I'm nowhere near finished yet, but do the journal entries concerning burnes reflect what's happening with Drake? I'm on chapter 12 and some entries seem to be very similar to what's going on between Drake and elana, interesting reads.

Yep uncharted and climbing go together like sausage and chips. But I'd have to agree with that this game does have more climbing than previous games, certainly feels that way, it's not a bad thing, not for me anyway.

Maybe it's just me than, as I didn't think there was more climbing in this. I found it enjoyable anyway.

yep nothing wrong with the shooting i like 3rd person cover based shooting games.

there's three things i hate in video games

1) climbing
2) stealth
3) dying alot

uncharted 4 had lots more of all these things compared to the previous games

i don't think you should go anyway near an uncharted game if you don't like the first two on your list. if you don't like dying a lot then maybe try easy mode or something.

I think the shooting is technically best in this one, there is a little bit of sway which makes it more difficult but also more realistic. I think they got that from Last of Us as well. Uncharted 3 aiming never felt right for me so I noticed the difference here.

I take it you went for the guns blazing approach then? lol

all the dying was the climbing only died a couple of times in combat. dont remember much stealth in the first 3 games and alot less climbing

i get im in the minority here just had to say how gutted i was that all the things i dont like were way more prevalent in this game which really ruined it for me as a game.

Wow you play fast! I've just finished my first run-through and my time is double that. I must be really slow lol !

My stats include:
Total time spent playing: 25:47:30
Treasures collected: 48/109 (gods knows where I missed all the rest?!)
Total journal entries collected: 16/25
Total journal notes collected: 18/23
Total optional conversations 28/36 (thought I did them all !!)

Overall another great uncharted game, looking forward to trying out the multiplayer and playing again on hard....
They are fantastic on how they hide them in places you'd never think you'd explore. Let alone knew the entrance to that section.

What game mode are you playing it on? Crushing is really something.

While playing this, I wonder what the original version of the game was supsoed to be like. I know that part way through the development, some of the creative team were replaced by those who were responsible for The Last of Us. Not that I am disliking this version; I am loving it lots. I just wonder what the differences were
