I'm nowhere near finished yet, but do the journal entries concerning burnes reflect what's happening with Drake? I'm on chapter 12 and some entries seem to be very similar to what's going on between Drake and elana, interesting reads.
I think they represent Sam more and sort of the journey Nate went through in 3 where he realised how much danger he was putting all those around him in.

From what I've pieced together of Burnes story (you do find more out about him past chapter 12 in notes etc so don't read if you don't want to know)...

Spoiler

has anyone bothered to get all the treasures in this game? some of them seem well hidden as i've missed tonnes. they seem rather pointless to me anyway
Yup. There's a trophy for it. They're not too hard to find if you're thorough. And there's none that need shooting down like the last game which is good!

While playing this, I wonder what the original version of the game was supsoed to be like. I know that part way through the development, some of the creative team were replaced by those who were responsible for The Last of Us. Not that I am disliking this version; I am loving it lots. I just wonder what the differences were
The original announcement trailer certainly points to something different. That's the voice of the guy who was originally going to play Sam. He left the project when the new team came in and said they changed a lot characterwise.

Finished the story over the weekend, the game had amazing graphics can't tell you how many screenshots I took. Just going through a treasure sweep using different modifiers and filters which makes it even more fun to play. Rainbow Funland + Chipmuck audio = win.

I get the feeling that in the original version Sam was going to be the antagonist. It would go some way to explain why Rafe isn't quite the big villain I expected. That said, I haven't finished the game yet, so.......

.
Some were awful that you had to catch it otherwise it would fall into the abyss. Like the water fill scene in Uncharted 3.

The one issue I have with this game is the treasures, they've expanded the world of Uncharted, so the treasures are spread over quite large areas in this game compared to previous games. I've spent ages searching in chapter 12 and still missed out on several treasures. They should be offering a treasure map, that needs to be found itself, but once found unlocks the location of treasures in that area. Like how Tomb Raider does it.

Finally got around to completing it and, wow, what a ride.

It wasn't perfect, but it was ambitious, beautiful, compelling, addictive, moving....

A modern masterpiece. 9.5/10

I thought there was an option or an unlockable that made it easier to find the treasures. Not sure what it's called but it would be under the bonus or options menu.

yeah the treasures seem too meaningless in this game for me to care about. i quite enjoyed getting the treasures in tomb raider because you got a bit of detail about each one and of course had the map to get them.

i'm on chapter 16 at the mo. story seems to be dragging on a little for my liking and is getting too predictable. go to new place , rafes men show up then repeat. still a brilliant game though.

I don't see the point of the treasures either, good game but no replay value, think Tomb Raider is better for that.

Do we really need spoiler tags? When I didn't have the game I avoided this thread like the plague. I don't see why latecomers can't do the same.

Finished this yesterday. Absolutely brilliant game. Two issues though.

The trophies are damn difficult to get. I only got 14% which has put me off playing again to attempt platinum.

I didn't like the way the game cut you off from going backwards with out warning. Normally you could tell you were taking a one way route such is on big drops or on slopes but occasionally you would take a path and there would be an unexpected rock fall to stop you back tracking.

Minor issues though that just stop it from being a perfect game.

On playstation store nathan drake collection has been reduced to 24.99. Its only available at that price until 15th june. Wondering if its worth getting. Played the demo which i think was from 2nd game.

Same boat, dude. I really liked Uncharted 4 but I didn't like the Uncharted 2 demo at all. 24.99 is only a bargain if at least 2 of those 3 games are decent.

Personally I love all the Uncharted games. Replayed them numerous times on the PS3, 1, 2 and 3. Though did Uncharted launch without trophies? As I have 0 trophies for Uncharted.

Also have the remastered versions for the PS4, love them as well. Hopefully one day I'll platinum them all. These games are so awesome I bought the artwork books.

Uncharted 2 has Chloe though.

Amazing game, loved every minute of it. But I think I had more fun playing Uncharted 2.

Crushing playthrough done. Not as tricky as I'd feared, though I think the infinite ammo modifier helped me there.

Now cleaning up some of the other trophies like the ones for collectibles. Will see if I can be bothered going for the one you get for completing the game in less than six hours!

Is anyone playing the multi-player? I didn't think I was that bad at combat but always find myself killed during most 1-2-1's and am often at the bottom of the result scores. Frustrating but guess it's because I'm just a casual gamer and need more practice....

I'd say it's worth it, you probably won't get many people here who say it's not. 3 games for 24.99 is really good. I just checked Amazon and was surprised to see it at £41 still. Uncharted 2 is in my top 5 games ever, I just love that game, i'd buy it for that alone. Did you enjoy the demo?

I'm not too keen on demo's personally, if I had judged Valkyria Chronicles on the demo I wouldn't have played it. I actually thought the Last of Us had a 'meh' demo as well. I ended up madly in love with both those games. Maybe it's playing something out of context, I don't know if anyone else feels the same?

I'm always scared of multiplayer, I get this inferiority complex or something. I have tried this one (I want the trophy) They have warm up matches, so your playing with other newbies and don't feel quite so pressured to be good. It's pretty fun though!

how do you access the warm ups? I can't see it. I'm fairly new to multiplayer so will play as novice. It's only letting me play private?

EDIT: Found it.

Played demo a while ago and i just couldn't get into it but played again other day and enjoyed more. Don't actually no much about uncharted like if its a continuous story from first game upto new one? for me playing demo is like starting a movie half way through. Better to start at the beginning. I've bought it anyway.
